Absolutly brilliant mouse

i've had mine for about 2 months i got it for £30/35 but its around the £50 normally
#2
Does anyone own a VX nano? what do you think about that one?
#3
I have had this mose for over a year now and think it is the best one I have ever had.
I only need to recharge it on it's base around once a week and for only about 2 hours.

I paid around £35 for mine when the Google checkout £10 deal was going.

Voted Hot Hot Hot.

yep really doing my head in , most annoying this is it was 12.15 midnight and i was desperatly trying to do a sysyem restore on the troublesome vista and it just kept conking out.
so has this thing got a base charger or am i back to changing batterys again?
looked on amazon but it doesnt show a charger:oops:

Sorry my bad, I have the next model up the MX model LINK. Power Type Battery charger ; Battery Technology Lithium Ion

This is the VX model in this deal, LINK. Battery 1 x AA type
#8
how come the nano version is cheap than this.
#9
This is the Notebook version. So its smaller. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dreampower/1026321483/(the small one in picture)

Deal should have really stated notebook version. As others might have it confuse with the MX desktop version, which is really good and comfortable to hand.

Great for laptop users and good deal.

Only problem is most PC World products has none instock as soon as you put in your postcode:roll:

Nano is more expensive. It used to be 31.05 from PCW but now gone up to 39.99. £34 from amazon though.... hurts...

Looking at http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/08/31/review_logitech_vx_revolution/ this link it doesn't look like it does - here is the nano (for comaprison) http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/07/23/logitech_cordless_mouse/

In that case i would say it swings to the Nano imo as the simple idea of leaving the usb receiver in all the time is genius and saves losing it and knocking and breaking it..

Is this available for left-handed use?
#29
Ok, don't shoot me, but i'm about to display some ignorance.

£25 seems mighty expensive for a mouse - what is so special about it, that puts other mice to shame?

(I'm sure it's a hot deal - just trying to understand. I need a new mouse too..)

You can get mice for a lot less. But look further up the thread at the person complaining about having to change the battery in their mouse 4 times in one night. Logitech make quality products. You could buy a cheap non-name mouse for a fiver and it will be **** and it won't be nice to use. You could even buy a Microsoft or Logitech bundle for 15 pounds but the mouse won't be that great. This mouse is designed so for us lucky people who are right handed so it fits like a glove and it means if you want to you can sit in front of your PC for ages and not get sore wrists. If you can afford it I would get one. Do you need wireless though? If not I'd reccomend spending another 5 pounds and getting a Logitech G5. It's got teflon feet so it glides across your desk or mousepad nice and smoothly.

I use a LOGITECH G5, but this looks a HOT deal.

"Okay no problem. Here's my second plan. Back in the 60's, I had a weather changing machine that was, in essence, a sophisticated heat beam which we called a "laser." Using these "lasers," we punch a hole in the protective layer around the Earth, which we scientists call the "Ozone Layer." Slowly but surely, ultraviolet rays would pour in, increasing the risk of skin cancer. That is unless the world pays us a hefty ransom".

It's a laser mouse, basically a very accurate, high dpi mouse which works on any surface (apart from glass). Hence the cost. :)

Excellent mouse functionally, but very uncomfortable to use if you are left handed.
#34
I have the Nano, it's excellent. Best mouse I've ever had. The receiver stays plugged into my laptop at all times as its so small.

Only gripe is that the middle mouse button doesn't work like a middle mouse button, so you have to assign another button for that purpose, but you get used to it.

The middle button seems to turn on/off smooth scrolling.

This mouse it propably very similar, maybe a bit bigger, but as someone says without the small receiver so probably not so hot for a laptop, but excellent for a desktop where the receiver wont get broken.

This has come about a month too late for me. I really wanted this mouse but it was too expensive before. Opted for a Logitech wireless optical which is still a great mouse but this one felt so comfortable when i tried it in pc world.
#36
sorri..js wanna clarify something. cos im gettin a little confused here.

Battery and USB receiver mate :D

Argh! I gt excited then, but realised it's the notebook version. Still, good deal, probably the best laptop mouse you can get.
#39
I've replaced my corded mouse with this one from Play for £17.99 delivered (Plus Quidco!)

Much better than my old optical mouse, comfortable, cordless, smooth scrolling and battery lasts months!

Nano is famous for its receiver. As I owned 2 of them for couple months, I can say they are really good mice.
