Found discount on red color mouses only in Bristol. Normal price for other colors. But red ones are nice.

Yeah, better choice. What I currently use and have done for a year or so. Flawless mouse, works on any surface. ideal for surfing in bed (NO, not for THAT!) and not have to worry about using a mouse mat or flat surface.

My M305 works fine in bed, but I think the extra is worth it for a laser.

Bought the black one off amazon because it matches the laptop well.

Will stick with my one of ebay that was a fiver, actually pretty good build quality and works a stupid distance away!

I think I'm of the opinion that laser mice are a gimmick. I've used both and the laser mice don't seem any better.

All they do is use more juice and therefore require 2 batteries to power them, which adds to the weight if you want to carry one round with you.

The laser is just a selling point, it isn't a real world improvement.

Yep.. me too.
It works on my chair arm or trouser leg no problems from 10 foot away ( for my media centre) and the single AA battery last months. They really are great. I wish they did a keyboard on the same nano recievers.
The same one is still £5.15 delivered on buy it now ( search for " wireless mouse 5 buttons 2.4g " ). Takes about 2 weeks to come from Hong kong though.
