I saw this earllier today when I was in there replacing the cheap Maltesers that I bought for Christmas but ate last night (an extra couple of hours working out should sort that out).

Basic set but good and cheap would have been tempted but I got the really nice Trust set from Amazon a few weeks back when that was really cheap.

Voted hot.

Paul.

Anyone know the model so I can check before going down? Unfortunatley I don't drive and it's a good 50 mins walk each way to Mozzers.

My H key is a bit wonkey - which is evident in some of my past posts - so this would be a nice cheap way to rectify that.

I blame emulators and Daley Thompson for my keyboard woes... Probably means nothing to someone under 25!!!

Logitech EX100, it looks slightly smarter than the EX110 in my opinion.

Decent basic wireless keyboard and mouse, reliable make and dirt cheap. The next cheapest (retail) for this is @ £16. Recommended.

Good starter.

We had logitechs in our house last year - low end ones and well, they sucked frankly. The receiver has to be so close to the mouse it's pointless being wireless. YMMV but I'd stay clear, save the inevitable frustration.

Great find !!!

Does anyone know if this works with Mac Os X ??

Thanks

All the keyboardy bits will, doubt the media shortcut keys will though. Plus there's the @ and " being round the other way and no Apple key. If you can live with that then you'll be fine.

Thanks gunark....

thats no biggy.... will be poping into morrys soon
#14
Thanks, picked this up tonight as a Christmas pressie for a friend. Was only 2 left on shelves.

Needed a new mouse so went to have a look brought the £15 trust setup home instead much nicer mouse (although middle button a little stiff) but the keyboard is almost impossible to use :x

edit - actually getting used to it now I think people should consider this over the OP

has large receiver which isn't helpful for laptops ideally great for desktops but i still use it when playing games on my laptop linked to my TV :P
#17
We've just bought this, works great. The receiver is a bit larger than some (we use it with our laptop too), however the mouse and keyboard work further away than any others we've tried so that makes it far better.

Our local Morrisons got a tonne of these in today for the first time - I searched for it but the search engine here is a piece of **** and I ended up reposting this deal (which upset the repost sadcases no end - do they really have NOTHING better to do? :) )

Anyway - it's a really good deal - esp compared to the nasty Asian cheapskate stuff which often costs MORE (7DayShop offer for example).

Confirmed working on OS X 10.5 (Leopard), the Windows key changes function to the Apple (command) key after install of the OS X Logitech control center, available from logitech.com, thus all apple keyboard shortcuts are available. Logitech control center supports OS X 10.3.9 onwards for both PPC & Intel based macs.

Does not interfere with the Xbox360 controller for Windows (when running Windows).

Can't switch the kbd/mouse off without physically pulling the batteries out, which is tiresome, can't comment on battery life as I use rechargeables & replace as & when I need to. Otherwise a great full size keyboard for my laptop or PS3 for a tenner.
#33
Just for clarification will this keyboard and mouse combo work with the PS3 without installing Linux?

Cheers,
#34
hahaha, how weird, i came looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse for installing linux as well! I assume it works, so long as it connects via usb. I wonder if this deal has expired...

mmm, went to morrisons today but couldn't find any. I bought a different one instead for £15, but it doesn't have a caps lock light, so i think it might go back. Also i can get this from dixons for £15
