Why would you need two though?

I'm in a very fortunate position of having two rooms and two devices, coupled with an extraordinary amount of laze.

Good deal. But a separate mouse and keyboard is better

Not when you want to use it on your lap or any situation where a flat surface is unavailable.

With the unifying controller, with a compatible model, you can use a mouse at the same time.

You could have just bought an extra dongle and strutted from room to room with your keyboard?
I have one of these and it looks slightly different , no yellow on it?. good price tho.

That won't work. They're not IR.

These only have a 2-year warranty, compared with 3 on the K400r (which is otherwise identical - actually, I think the K400r may have an extra button, too?).

£20 is still a great price for one of these. Excellent for a home theatre system, or operating Windows from the sofa.

These are very good keyboards. Got one at work and one home. Never had connection issues or lag.

The only tiny issue is u have to install the driver and change the settings if you need the F keys to be the primary function. Otherwise pressing f will do te volume up/down brightness etc.

Best wireless keyboard I've ever had. I paid way more than this & it was still worth it.

Ideal for keeping in the lounge sideboard to grab quickly if I need to use the htpc for something other than kodi, or to fix an issue with it (it's windows based so can be occasionally temperamental). I also chuck the dongle into the server if I ever need to access that (rare cos usually you can just use remote access) & it works perfectly with Ubuntu too.

Have some heat, highly recommend this.

"Windows 10 or later." - I like the "or later" part. Magic keyboard supports already unknown future versions of OS.

Nice, just got a "used" one (pristine item, box damaged) for £14.48 with the student 20% off!

Is there a version with a backlight?
#21
Yes there is a 'back lit' version, the K830. It is even better (battery, higher quality built) but is significantly more expensive

Tempted to purchase, heat added regardless :)

Ace little keyboard, works well with a Steam Link.

Anyone had any experience playing games using a trackpad? Hesitant to buy this in case switching from my cabled mouse (now with bent USB plug) makes my Fallout 4 playing any more cack handed.

For an fps like fallout, a truckload is going to be a handicap.

Not sure how that resulted in a reply to your comment Pablo.

I have had the older version of this for about 4 years now. A bit small for your everyday desktop or laptop use. But perfect if you have a small tv plug in device or similar. I work with as a network engineer, quite often with computers / servers that have no keyboard mouse plugged in. Handy to keep it in the tool bag, and just pop it out when needed. I have left the Logitech unified adapter (USB receiver) on site many times, but you can just grab another off eBay and carry on.

Would this work with an LG Smart TV? Without being connected to a PC? Sorry if a daft question but would be great to know!

I've owned both the old Logitech K400 and the equivalent Microsoft All-In-One Media keyboard, and personally I prefer the Microsoft one. It's very similar but I prefer the touchpad on the microsoft one. It doesn't have such a pronounced "lip/trough" thing, and so I can reach the edges of the trackpad better.

Just my 2 cents. It's £23.90 on Amazon right now:

Is this Blue-tooth or does it use it's own USB dongle?

It is its own dongle - I bought another dongle to try and use mine on two devices but I believe they are paired out of the box

Arghhh... they should go with a trackball and Page Up, Down, Home, End on individual keys... I'm sure it's a well made keyboard, but as a seasoned sofa surfer user, these keys & a trackball are a must.
