Is this possible to connect to TV ?
#5
Kinda unrelated to this, but does anyone know of any decent/cheap wireless pc speakers???

Bought these very same speakers from Comet for a simialr price recently - really great sound!

These are good for the money - I have owned them for the past 2 years and got rid of them yesterday. When you first get them, its like WOW!!! But after 2 years I have grown out of them as, lets face it, the sound quality although amazing for the price, just doesn't cut it for home cinema or hardcore music listening!

Fair point - but they're good for the money. What have you got now?

I have these connected on my samsung T220HD thru 3.5mm jack for PS3. There v.good

I listened to both in the store and the x-210's sound much nicer and look better. The iPod dock is basically a little drawer that comes out but you appear to still need to plug a cable in, so relatively pointless

Great cheap upgrade for anyone who is still playing games/watching music through a TV's built-in speakers. These will no doubt improve the sound and add some rumble to explosions etc.

They're not the best speakers in the world, but for less than £20, they are at least twice as good as any standard TV speakers, and they'll serve well as party speakers for ipod etc

Yep, straight into the headphone jack.

Picked these up in the recent Currys thread and had the same reservations. But they work great.

Specification says this - Is this not the same thing? Or something completely different?

Real-time bass equalization - Equalisation gives you more bass response with less distortion.

I think that refers to the circuitry inside the system. Its not far off meaningless. However, this sytem has no external bass dial/control.
I dont mind too much as I use it on a PC and just knock the bass down using sound card software
