Great price.

I have had these over a year now, and they are superb.

Great sound, and brilliant touch screen which you can turn up the volume, or change songs. Also displays time, date song being played and how many emails you have in your inbox.

BUY BUY BUY!!

I'm no audiophile but they seem excellent. Plenty of volume on them. They look the part too!

decent speakers for this price a bargain.

mine recently stopped working after just over a year got em from pc world on an ebuyer price match 44.99, they wwouldnt do nothing so rang logitech who took my details and pid number from bottom of speakers and sent me a new set out from holland received 2 days later.

so there is a 2 year manufacturer warranty on these as well:)

This is quite possible the best pair of PC speakers/Gaming speakers that money can buy. A few months ago they were in PC world for around £90. This current price is a steal. If you want an alternative competitor then you should consider the Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Multimedia Speakers for around £90. But the Z-10's are really amazing on the bass and if it was not for software clitches these would still be selling at PC world. Even the logtiech z-cinema aren't that great compared to these and they shift for around £130.

Great post-bargain price. Bought one for the TV as I am using the creative's for the PC.

Sweet price! Just ordered some. H&R

So do you plug them in the USB of a laptop to get the sound feed and into the wall for the amplifier power?

Yeah, or you can use the 3.5mm jack at the back to connect to your soundcard/mp3 player etc, if you dont want to bypass your soundcard (which is what im doing as im using these with an x-fi fatality)
#16
Just ordered these - great find! I've been looking to upgrade my 'fab but old and a bit underpowered' Yamaha M20DSP for a while now and couldn't resist these at that price.
#17
just purchased...great price
#18
do you think these will be better than my jbl creative speaker?
#19
Heat and rep!

btw do these work on mac via usb or will it only work via 3.5mm headphones?
#20
Wow, thats an exceptionaly good price for these speakers.

I got mine in August to replace my Z-2300 set, paid £65 delivered from Misco which at the time was the very cheapest price anywhere. The sound quality is A1, its fantastic, you would not believe a 2.0 speaker set could produce such great sound. They are also very nice to use with the LCD and touch controls, and the seperate USB and 3.5mm input is handy so you can have your PC and iPod for example both connected at same time. I'm almost tempted to buy another set at this price, complete bargain.

This is turning into an expensive evening. £125 on a computer case, £52 on a keyboard and now these!
Don't think I'll be able to afford the components to actually build the computer, lol.

Hope so. I've got a great hi-fi setup I can use but it seems a little excessive for day-to-day PC use.

Oops, I forgot to use Quidco.

#26
wow my 2nd hot deals purchase of the morning! Have some heat!
#27
This looks to be a good deal, heat and rep added - ordered - thanks very much.
#28
I bought these recently and they are a good pair of speakers but I can't get them to work with 'usb' - keeps freezing my pc :(
I may ring logitech and see if theres a fault with them as a lot of ppl on here are saying theres no problem.

Just purchased a pair for my lappy..... hot hot hot! :-D
#30
It looked extremely nice and produce crisp sound but lack of bass as it does not have proper wooofer.

However for this price, you will be foolish if you don't buy it because everybody knows how much these ones worth.
#31
I have an old Altec set with a Sub, would these make a good replacement?

Cheers.
#32
nice
xmas present for self +1
#33
are these as good as the harmon kardon 2.1 setup? lack of bass seems odd and the fact u need to bypass the soundcard to be software controlled worries me as soon as a pc takes charge thats when problems arise...
#34
I am looking to buy a pair of speakers, but aren't these speakers old? Seems to have been released in late 2006/2007. Haven't logitech updated their speaker range since then? Also there is no subwoofer, doesn't that make these less attractive?
#35
It baffles me why these speakers get so much good feedback. I bought them from amazon a while ago because of all the glowing reviews on there, but I was pretty disappointed when they arrived.
The bass is pants, and the sound quality is only average. For £50 you could buy speakers with far superior sound quality. Having said that I suppose these are a good deal for £40, but I recommend spending an extra £10 or £15 and getting a decent set of speakers, these are highly overrated IMO and the rrp is a complete joke.

I've heard that all too often
but I recommend spending an extra £10 or £15 and getting a decent set of speakers,
maybe instead of complaining about this deal you can suggest some £50 speakers which are so much better? Maybe you're just bitter because paid to much...

I reckon so. Mine replaced a 2.1 Logitech Z-2300 set.

The bass produced by this speakers are weaker than any 2.1 systems. But this would suit to those who don't want massive bass and the people are more concerned about look and size of the speakers.

For £50 budget, Logitech Z4 speaker would perform much better. Logitech Z4 speakers

or alternatively, I would go for JBL Creature speakers

or slightly more expensive option JBL Soundsticks II speakers

I can guarantee you, you won't be disappointed for choosing above speakers. But bear in mind there are some other good speakers out there for your budget.

Thx for the info , I think ppl buy these because of space saving like mine are on the window sill.
JBL Soundsticks II speakers look quite neat and trendy from that pic.
