These speaker Rock and at that price. Voted hot

I had one of these and the subwoofer made an annoying buzz sound, even when switched off (but on at the mains), Changed cables and location but buzzing still there. No buzz on the previous Z-3 model.

Sound quality was good though, and I would have kept it if it didn't buzz. Maybe it was a faulty unit, if so, this is a great price

will these be any good to hook up to 32" samsungb panel as the sound quality on the sammy is pretty poor.

I have these. The sub is nice but the speakers are not that great. They are average.

I picked these up at pc world for a similar price 2 months ago after student discount. Not sure if I should have been given it though.
#5
Brought these quite a while back for £60. Big difference from the usual cr4p speakers pc manufacturers supply. Sounds big enough to fill the room, I use them for music and gaming.

Drat. I bought these 2 days ago from Amazon for £44.99 and it now won't let me cancel the order to reorder at the lower price.

Boo hiss.

Don't amazon have a price guarantee? I know they refunded me on a dvd that i bought from them once.

However that might not apply for things like speakers

Thanks. Was after something similar to these for my new Garage/Gym.

Ordered!

Was going to post this myself, the wonders of using search have spared me.
Spent a few hours deciding on which set of speakers to grab after my amp broke on my old set leaving my speakers and woofer useless - failed attempts to find a replacement part led me to these. Seems like a great price, especially comparing to play @ £59.99!

Great reviews on Amazon, Play and numerous other sites - let's hope they are justified and arrive quick as I'm stuck with a set of headphones at present! Heat added.

Yep mine has the buzzing sound too when the mains is switched on
not sure why it happens but quite a lot of people complaining about it - must be some sort of small current running through - its annoying but after a few weeks just get used to it.

Just a warning to any of you bass heads - although the clarity of sound is top notch the bass on this unit isnt as deep as you would expect from such a bassbox.

Still a great unit though, bought mine a few months ago on laskys, has input for ipod or external sources

They cancelled the price guarantee but you can send anything (almost) back to any online retailer within 7 days under the distance selling regulations - if you threaten to do this Amazon might let you have the price reduction. It wouldn't be the first time.

Just purchased - BEST BE GOOD! Haha

How big is the sub? Overly big?

Thanks for that. It's a shame that it's a widespread issue. I returned mine as the buzz was very annoying and I couldn't get used to it!

im sitting here now with my z4's on now with no buzzing whatsoever. I actually returned a set i though were faulty earlier this year and then found out it was becuase one of the speakers was too close to the phone which was causing the buzzing!
Only realised when the new set was doing the same, moved the phone then no buzzing!

Interesting. I tested mine with just the power cable connected to the sub, no other cables or speakers. Tried it in several sockets in different rooms, buzz everywhere! My Z-3 tested in the same way did not buzz.

Did a quick search around and it certainly seems like a case of sample variance and poor quality control by Logitech.

I'm going to order one now and see if it fares better

Cheers

are these better than the 5.1 X-540 ones from Dell that cost a few quid more?
#22
can I check are these for use with a computer or a TV (LCD) ?
#23
Damn, I bought mine today from PC World for £44.99.

Do you think they will refund the difference between the Amazon price?

I guess if your PC or TV has a headphone port then your good to go. It just plugs into the AUX out and routes it through the speakers.
#26
these speakers are awesome, i have two of them and i must say well worth the money i paid £50 for them £37.30 is a steal.

No, they don't do online price matches any more.

One solution would be order these from Amazon and then return them using your PCWorld receipt...

Good deal, was going to order these a while back but thought i'd put them on my christmas list, but for this price, thought i'd make christmas come early for myself =) H&R added!

Ended up getting two from Amazon and to my delight neither have the annoying buzz. So the one I had originally must have been faulty or from a lower quality batch
