Recently got a 'One' for just over £70... cold from me,

Took an age to get this set up right. My family just didn't work the same way that the remote WANTS you to work (everything is organised into 'activities'), so after the initial setup it quickly fell out of use.

I recently picked it up again and dedicated a bit more time to it, and it works reasonably well with my family with a fair bit of tinkering to get it right.

Works like a dream for me and my family. Sadly my 3 year old is starting to figure out how to use it!

Maybe they could let me know how to do it:-D

Fair price to me.

I have the 525 at the moment and will be looking to get another harmony remote as mine gets used alot. Even my inlaws understand how to use it with activities such as Watch SkyHD, which turns all the right bits on (amp, tv, skyhd box) and can switch to letting my 2yr old watch a DVD with a single activity button press.

As to harmony one and think the 885 (and 525 for that matter) has one thing over the one and that is its dedicated coloured (red, green, yellow and blue) buttons, Without these controlling sky boxes are alot harder so you end up using the lcd to define these or reassiging some of the other prenamed buttons to do the job :whistling: Why they dropped them is beyond me as even without Sky most TV's these days also have coloured buttons that control key functions (such as sound type, aspect ratio, source etc) which again prove usefull to have on the harmony too.

Completely agree and one reason I avoided the One. Also own the 1000 but don't like it. Went back to my 885 as it does everything I need it to do except for some of the buttons being slightly unresponsive due to heavy use.
