What am I missing? What's funny?
#4
Nice. Though I wouldn't say not understanding a 'joke' is the same as not having a good enough sense of humour to find it funny :P
#5
I presume the joke is that ebay is so simple to charge someone how to use it is a joke, if it ain't that, then I too don't know what's funny
#6
It may sound funny, but there's still a load of people that don't know how to list items properly on eBay, they could probably do with reading something like this. But that suits me, I buy from them and relist making a nice profit :)

you're lack of humour that's what

I'm an ebay seller, and it's anything but simple to set up a successful business model. There are many techniques, tips and loopholes in the world of online retail and any book that can help you to improve your revenue stream by even a fraction of a percent will pay for itself in no time. Voted hot to trot!

Sorry for the confusion, my LOL and :giggle: is meant as a cheeky :giggle: because I wondered if it appropriate to post this on HUKD.

My explanation for the relevance of posting this particular good deal is

I think it's amusing (:giggle: ) that so many good deals/freebies listed here appear on ebay so quickly. It appears that many HUKD browsers/buyers think they might be unique in obtaining a freebie ect. to then sell profitably on ebay. Many often have the original deal picture/description as seen on HUKD too, more or less listed at the same time - The only real differences are the price and p&p, and boy there are some differences!

Many peeps sell (on ebay and elsewhere) and have been selling (and relisting) for a long time, this does not make them all good at selling!
Yes, IMHO the basics of ebay are simple enough to most, but quite obviously not too all!

Very many peeps relist, relist, relist (each time costing them) when sometimes some very simple guidelines might help, that's where something like this book comes in (it's a good price even at full price for what could be learnt).

Sometimes peeps can't see the obvious until they have a little jolt - Advice such as "there are numerous ebay sellers that also view HUKD", "search for any competition, and their prices, before you list" or "hold onto it for a few weeks so the market isn't as flooded" - It may seem very obvious to some, but it isn't to all eg. many La ReDoute free towels, jackets, bags, luggage, scarfs ect. remained unsold after relists mainly, IMHO, because ebay was flooded with them, some sellers didn't check their listing competition and the priced them too high .

Oh and my
jerry
Only one cold in 2 minutes! Crickey! :giggle:

was more of an onscreen thought really!

There seem to be a lot of cold votes on deals where many do not have a visible reason for a cold vote (ie they are good deals/reductions/savings) - I can only think that there are a lot of peeps who vote cold because they don't like the colour of an offer/they can't pick one up near them/something is out of stock in their area or size, petty reasons that do not make the deal a bad one, just not suitable/available or wanted by all - I can't help thinking that there would not be as many if the cold voters had to give a reason for their vote (and you could see their id).

At the time of this post this thread has 12 replies, 3 are my own, and the deal reads -3% - Crazy!

Jerry, thanks for the concise explanation regarding your ''Only one cold in 2 minutes! Crickey!'' comment. It's all so crystal clear to us all now!:giggle:  :whistling:

However, your ''1% off is better than 2% on'' will guarantee you extra cold votes from people seeking breast enlargements and others who earn interest on savings. The list is endless. :giggle:

Anything above 1% would be even better!
