Good deal, bad queues.

When I went on it, it didn't seem anything like 135 metres tall. Strange.:)

These may go quick! To quote the clubcard email I received:

Only 200 available - from 9am Wednesday 11 January

Worth a trip on the London Eye, especially on a clear day (obviously). Views are amazing :)

Me too, been quite a few times to London over last few months, and every time I've been something has transpired preventing me from going on it!
#12
it's closes every year in January for a few weeks for maintenance
#13
Was planning to go at the weekend so thanks for the tip off

Managed to bag 199 of them, (joking)

Brilliant deal if you can get it,
but yet another Tesco marketing gimmick
which will be brilliant for the massive 200 people
who manage to bag one.

If they posted 2000 it would be ridiculous, but 200 Tesco aving a laugh yet again! :p

They were nuts! The ones at the end of the display pretty much overexposed the BBCs HD camera. I think I may go into town next year to have a look. I have been lucky enough to live in Edinburgh on hogmanay and visited Washington D.C on the 4th of July but the London ones looked on another level this year. My brother was pretty impressed when he went to Sydney for NYE a couple of years ago but apparently Edinburgh had more tonnes of fireworks than Sydney had this year. I think the ones coming out of Big Ben were a bit of a failure though.

The only exciting thing about the london eye is... getting off it and going into the amusement place

[You try and tell your kids that they can't go on it! - It would be a one off ride, and a must for anyone visiting London.

What height would the wheels in your amusement parks reach and would they look out on to a skyline such as London's?

not really a good deal, at least not as good as the Buy-1-get-1 free offer pinkpeppa123 mentioned above.
#40
This is not a great deal?
£5 clubcard voucher is worth 3x if exchanged for Clubcard Rewards.. meaning it's worth £15.
Standard ticket for London Eye bought online is £17.
