London Boulevard on Blu-ray at Zavvi for £3.95
One of the few Blu-rays that Zavvi have been dropping to the £3.95 mark recently, and not a bad price at all for a solid watch if you're having a night in.
William Monahan (who wrote The Departed) makes his directorial debut, with Colin Farrell, Keira Knightley, and Ray Winstone leading the cast, alongside David Thewlis, Anna Friel, and Eddie Marsan.
Not quite as popular/well-known as some of Monahan's earlier work, but definitely worth watching at this price for the Blu-ray.
Elsewhere:
£4.95 - The Hut
£5.99 - Amazon / Play
£8.27 - Tesco
£9.00 - HMV
"Not Every Criminal Wants To Be One...
Mitchell (Colin Farrell) has just been released from prison, and he’s trying his best to go straight. In order to live his life by the rules he tries his hand at being a handyman for the young, reclusive actress; Charlotte (Keira Knightley). Straying from his old ways is not easy, especially when it helps with his new job.
Mitchell is consistently struggling with his new life as a London gangster is on his case. Gant (Ray Winstone) wants Mitchell to return to his old life, and won’t be persuaded otherwise so easily. Gant is set on his path to revert Mitchell to his old ways and tries to trap him into becoming a gangster, by any means possible."
