cheaper here, and thats without doing a proper search - all depends on intended dates of travel

read the title, it says direct flight, KLM do not offer direct flights... and also like you said its without doing a proper search, if you search you will see that it is difficult to find that price the cheapest i have seen on there is £300 and dont forget the stops at paris or amsterdam

For a direct flight under £300 to India is pretty good

good price, good website thanks heat added

Good deal, but too HOT there at the moment.

so basically you have to haggle with the travel agent to get the price; thats not a deal in my book.
and how reliable is this travel agent? I would prefer booking with Southall or expedia just to be safe!!!

nice find...heat added..but its too hot to go there now

im at an odds with this, the price is highly dependant on travel dates. ive been there a good number of times

i went during peek season, and it only cost me £60 more with va direct ... so i dont think it is spectacular.. it all depends on timing..

the friday 9pm flights to delhi are good with virgin atlantic

i find kayak.co.uk the best for finding the good flights, never had to use an agent

i don't know how reliable are they

firstly their basic price of £304 is good enough for a direct flight as apart from Air India (which most of the time does not leave/arrive on the given day) you won't find a cheaper deal at this time. Secondly Cheap Ticket is another trading name of Southall Travel...they are the SAME company but different names.

£60 may not be that much but some people buy more than one ticket...you can do the maths yourself!

Sorry just wanted to add my two pence worth here.

The price quoted is only valid until the end of the month ie till 12am tonight (31/5/09).

I rang up and was quoted £322 for adult tickets.

just a word of warning anyone with children that the kids cost is not that much less than adults- I was quoted £310 for a 6 year old travelling!

Unfortunately I have just booked my tickets with Southall Travel on Friday evening for marginally more £329 (as fliyng on a weekend and returning on a weekend which incurs a £10 extra charge each way onto the base fare).

Have to agree that whilst I normally use Air india for my visits I am concerned they are in trouble as you cant get a quote from them for any trip commencing several months in the future.
