I haven't had an email about this yet from them or seen it on HUKD submitted by a fellow long-suffering London Midland commuter.

To celebrate 2015 we’ve slashed the price of our first class & standard class Advance tickets by 15% for the whole of January. Furthermore, Railcard holders will get an extra third off.

Simply click on the red button below and your 15% saving will be applied to London Midland Advance fares bought between 1-31 January 2015, for travel until 28 February 2015.

It's implied in OP's text but just to be clear: it's an ONLINE ONLY sale - you can't save the 15% buying at a ticket office [which I have liked to do to use up past Delay Repay vouchers], and indeed the extra 15% off Advance are ONLY shown if you get to London Midland's booking engine via the special red "book online here' link as via the OP's posting. You get a red asterisk & "*online discount" showing on offer tickets. (Remember the offer ONLY applies to London Midland train journeys on "London Midland Only" tickets for those saying it's not knocking it off all fares!)

And LM's "Railcard holders will get an extra third off." seems to be just a statement that normal Railcard discounts are still available on those Advance tickets (with extra-15% off). I mention that as sometimes London Midland's sales also allow Network Card holders (ie what was once South-East network) to get the saving on their sale tickets even 'out of area'!

Still it's already saved me all of 75p with £5.00 fare in Feb reduced 15% to £4.25, and owt's better than nowt - that's for a trip that the unable to plan ahead person might have been forced to pay £20.50 on the day at the station (and as much as £36.50 a totally unrestricted time/carrier ticket) - UK train prices!!!!.

For those unfamiliar with London Midlands routes [though they don't offer Advance tickets on all routes/shorter-journeys] - see
They get up to Liverpool/Crewe/Stoke/Stafford/Rugby/London as well as around West Midlands/Hereford/Shrewsbury/Stratford Upon Avon.

Though to wander the network it's best to wait in hope they do another of their 'ranger' style 'Great Escape' sales [often over school half-terms] when they have oiffered a ranger syle ticket valid across entire LM network for £10-£15.
eg last Feb's half term Great Escape...
