It is any train,as many trains as you like in the same day using London Midland network.

If you Google Great Escape London Midland the last deal should come up to give people an idea.

I think email said 50,000 seats available.

these are not return tickets, they are unlimited travel tickets after peak morning times. so, in effect, you can travel on and off London Midland services all day

These are good value for money as you're not restricted to specific off peak trains. The down side is that British Midland are stopping services so best avoided if you want to get somewhere fast, for instance London to Birmingham New Street (2hr15mins BM, 1hr25or Virgin) or Crewe (2hr52mins BM, 1hr31mins Virgin) and I found the seats aren't all that comfortable and there's no on-board refreshments.
You should also note that BM have a habit of parting and joining train sets at Northampton. This isn't a problem if you're travelling towards Euston but can be if you're travelling North of Northampton as you could easily find yourself in the wrong part of the train, so listen very carefully to the on-board announcements.

    In a word, NO.

Derby, if my mind serves me correctly, is on the East Midlands line to St.Pancras International.
British Midland run in and out of London Euston.

Try the Megabus site for ticket prices to and from Derby.

you could, however, get yourself to Tamworth and use LONDON Midland from there, and the offer.

you would have to travel to the nearest London Midland station and then you can use this offer - Stoke or Stafford maybe? not familiar with the Derby area sorry

    Sorry, I made a mistake.

In my posts above would you please substitute the words London Midland where I've made reference to British Midland.

    Cheers.

Where does the 'book online or phone' in the title come from? From the final paragraph on the website it sounded to me like you have to go into a station to do it ('download your special voucher, then simply exchange it for a Great Escape ticket at any London Midland-served station'). If someone knows otherwise it'd help me to know since Nottingham isn't served by London Midland & it'd be much easier to do it that way than have someone in another town get them for me.

Great price but may struggle to get this. London Midland never have ticket offices open! Also takes ages to go from London to Birmingham.

Great deal - the West Midlands Day Rover ticket London Midland offer is £21.60, which is similar to this ticket but only works for the WM area - so the whole network for £15 is spot on!

Just booked 2 return tickets Northampton to Euston during October, leave Sat return Sunday, £12 each, total £24

Signed up for my voucher (it says no limit to the amount you can apply for so have signed up successfully for 2 different days)
I'm not sure I understand it but is the voucher limited or is it the tickets? Do I need to buy them ASAP? The t&c seem pretty vague....

The title of this thread needs amending as the terms state tickets are not redeemable by phone, only at the ticket office (or on the train if no office is available)
