There is a high threat from terrorism in Kenya. Attacks are highly likely and could affect British travellers. Attacks may target Kenyan government and other public institutions, but could be indiscriminate including in places frequented by expatriates and foreign travellers, such as hotels, bars, shopping centres and beaches
"There have been a series of suspected grenade explosions at Country Bus Station in Nairobi's Central Business District during the evening of 10 March. A number of people are reported killed and injured."

No we just don't want to be kidnapped and murdered or blown up.
Don't blame the punters, old chap. They are fed a daily diet of fear by the media, not only about dubious outposts like your own, but also about their own neighbourhoods. They are scared to go out of the front door for fear of something or other. And you are wrong. The Somali border is the front line. There is trouble and incertainty throughout the whole country.
Voting cold.
IT IS SAFE TO GO and it's just as safe as a lot of other places Bali, Thailand, LONDON ect
the tourism is really suffering because people think it's unsafe because of what is happening in Nairobi which is a 2 hour flight away, in out hotel the first week there was just 17 people in an 80 bedroom hotel ( All english my i add ) and everyone said they wouldn't think twice about coming back they loved it

Why didnt you quote the bit before the above !!!!!! because your stupid and wanted people to get the idea that the foreign office meant all of Kenya ... Below is what the foreign office say
We advise against all but essential travel within 60km of the Somali border inland from the coastal strip, and to Garissa District, due to continuing instability in these areas.
e advise against all but essential travel to coastal areas within 150km of the Somali border due to the threat of kidnapping. This includes the Lamu area. There were two attacks by armed gangs in small boats against beach resorts in this area on 11 September and 1 October 2011.
Mombasa is next to the Tanzania Border and is as safe
what a highly arrogant and offensive post!
Do one troll!
