Plenty of megabus/megatrain journeys are this price.

Part of the appeal of the whole Megabus brand is some journeys can cost as low as £1, not exactly a deal when it is that price quite often.

good reminder

I know plenty of people who think Megabus is only busses

THIS IS JUST STUPID, thanks for listing but think i may have to list ever £1 journey :|

oh and its £1.50 with booking fee (thought i would point out due to how lame it is that this is hot)
#6

#8

It NEVER ceases to amaze me the rudeness and ignorance shown on these forums ffs so WHAT if it's a "normal" price it's CHEAP that's what makes the deal.

Honestly some of you should bloody hang your heads in shame

Cannot agree more. This is a good price and a good deal.

It's a good price, but I disagree, it's not a good deal. This is just what Megabus (and Megatrain) do, sell journeys on ordinary trains from £1. So long as you book early enough you can get a seat for £1 (plus there's a small booking fee too).

You can always get a seat for £1 (and besides it's limited to the first few), so it's not a deal.

Great price but I wouldn't fancy doing this myself. I took a National Express from London to Manchester once earlier this year and that has put me off long coach journeys for quite some time.

This is for a train ticket not a coach ticket!

No you can't! - I paid £12 for a Megabus train ticket from Sheffield to London recently and thought I had got myself a mega bargain. The standard single ticket from Sheffield to London costs £91, so getting this journey for £1 constitutes one of the very best deal in terms of % saving of anything posted here over recent months!

Excellent deal, becknise.

It’s rather unfair to snipe at the OP. Those that don’t know about Megabus might be grateful to learn about them. Those that do know can simply scroll onto the next post. This sort of sniping might deter someone from posting something really useful.

there was a survey done on obese ppl not enjoying their long journey...think it was more about lack of food though.
