Well I like their price promise.

Now you just giving me something to do. I will not rest until I travel for free :-)

Fly for Free

If we can’t find you a cheaper airfare in the same cabin†, you’ll fly for free!

Why Book Anywhere Else?
Our Fly for Free Promise is more than a marketing promise; it's our promise to you our valued customer.

As part of our Fly for Free^ Promise, if we can't find you a cheaper airfare in the same cabin†, you’ll fly for free! Subject to availability, and offered for travel departing from the UK.

How it Works ...

1. 1) 1) You find a scheduled* airlines airfare that is available to the UK general public from another UK high street travel agent, on-line travel agent or call centre#.
2. 2) Visit a Flight Centre store or call a Flight Centre travel consultant on the same day you receive the quote.
3. 3) Show the Flight Centre travel consultant dated confirmation of the airfare quote.
4. 4) If Flight Centre is able to confirm that the airfare is still available to be booked in the same cabin† as per our competitors quoted itinerary, and we can’t beat it, we’ll give you the flight for free.
5. 5) If you wish to book with Flight Centre or require further information about Fly For Free, visit your nearest store or call 0870 499 0040.

*Applies to scheduled airlines only and not Charter or Low Cost airlines (charter and low cost examples include easyjet, ryanair, flybe, aer lingus and monarch), for travel originating from the UK.

# UK high street travel agent, on-line travel agent or call centre and is registered and licensed to sell travel in the UK and quoting in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

†Cabin – a definition. Individual seats or group of seats within each cabin i.e. economy, premium economy, business and first class.

Fly For Free will be honored if there are seats or group of seats still available to be booked in the same cabin as per the itinerary contained on the competitor’s quote.

2 choices for them:
a) Say we cant beat it and give it to you for free.
b) Beat it by 50p (even if they lost a few quid).

Im guessing they will go for b ;o)

Flew to JFK last year with these and the planes are a bit old and shabby but the flight was good, food was fine and staff were pretty friendly.

It is a dry flight though so if you need booze to make the journey quicker, look elsewhere. :)

Just come back from a trip with AA and aside from the in-flight entertainment I cant say it was a whole lot different to Kuwait.

Great deal IF you live down south, not so good for everyone else.

LOL Sorry.

Well I read reviews beforehand that warned that the video systems don't seem to work on all seats and true to form they didn't. Some of the seats looked a bit worn but aside from that, it didn't look a lot older than a lot of planes. Like I said I've just flown the same route with AA and their planes weren't dramatically better.

Well if around 24 crashes in the last 4 months is not a lot to you then fair enough. But to me is a lot :w00t::w00t:

But to me I think with all this credit crunch I think they are cutting a lot of corners, I think we had more accidents in the last 3 or 4 years than before.

Just look at BA now they are now asking people to work for free, if you are working for free would you be as good as you if you get paid a decent salary ? :?

Stand by the side of the M25 and you'll see that many crashes in a week, I guarantee it. Take a look at some statistics and you'll see that flying is much safer than people think.

Yes? They're still trained to a very high standard, and still expected to operate as such. Staff have been asked to work for free for up to a month, in a 6-month period (so less than a week off per month) in order to avoid colleagues being made redundant; that kind of time isn't exactly going to bankrupt them and it's voluntary.

From £216 ...
Hate that word "from"
And no instant confirmation either .. phone job.
Not for me

Exactly, why lose all the money instead of beating the quote and losing just a bit...
