I booked one of these the other day for a weekend in France. You pay in Euro's and it works out about £37 for a double room (not per person).

Check out the 'Speed Ferry' from Dover to Boulogne as they have some great rates also.

Think I paid about £97.00 in total for the ferry and hotel for a Saturday morning to Sunday night for the wife and I.

Poops, this would have been great for me as goign to Frankfurt for 2 nights, not ruddy 3 nights. Can I book the 3, get the reduction and just leave after 2 nights anyways

I don't know, but why don't you send an email to them

I've noticed some other hotels have an early checkout fee on special rate rooms, I think Holiday Inn or Travelodge was something crazy like a £50 fee if you didn't stay the nights you booked when you got there.

Yes you can

I have no idea what they are like in the rest of Europe but I've stayed in hundreds of cheap, sub-3 star hotels in the UK and I wouldn't recommend Ibis Hotels to a friend.
Choose any other chain but not Ibis.

Great deal, however...

Agree 100% - the most uncomfortable and unpleasant hotels I've ever stayed in. Never again

I stayed at some ibis hotels in europe and they weren't bad. they are not luxury hotels, but is great for a weekend or 3 days. believe I stayed in some awful hotels in the UK (mostly in London) (worst only in paris) and I payed more than any ibis

I've stayed in the IBIS in cardiff many times and although its not luxury its comfortable and clean. I've even stayed in Accors cheaper hotels ETAP in Birmingham and Cardiff (£35prpn) and even they are clean and good enough for a good nights sleep. I think this is a great deal and would always be happy to stay in any Accor Hotel.

Just stayed in Brussels IBIS across from Gare Du Midi. Better than I had hoped. Very clean with bar and restaurant. Rooms spacious and well equipped.

i have used the ibis near the bastille in paris and for inexpensive clean accommodation it was perfect. the bar and restaurant were good too.
for a short city break this is the best hotel i've found in Paris so far. its near the boulevard richard-lenoir which has an excellent traditional market on a thursday and a sunday and is easily accesible to the metro.
