If you truly 'descibed the deal in your own words', they're eerily similar to its blurb.:p

Excellent game. I'd voted for this myself, and was hoping it'd get picked, but it ended up with one of the clearest margins so far.:)

May also be worth mentioning that you can buy it with its sequel for £3.74.

I remember having my eye on the sequel back in the day so picked up both, probably won't play them for months though.

Good price but it is a 12 year old game so I wouldn't expect to pay more

I bought it, it defaulted to full screen which looks dreadful on a full hd monitor. I have edited the preferences file and running it at 640 x 480 and it looks much better. The only problem is the window defaults to the top left side of my monitor so I'm going to have a crooked neck by the end of the game. I can move the window but this seems to enable a multitude of errors. One being it hangs when trying to quit the game. Another is that cutscenes still play back top left, even though I've moved the window.

Soooooooo bored of these Steam deals.

If you're interested, at this stage - you're probably checking the Steam store.

It's a point and click game, I think in this case you're better off using the mouse. Also available is the sequel, Dreamfall which is great too. I'd go for this but I still have the original on however many cds it is!

    I love this game. :D <3

Great! I voted for this one but only because the metacritic score was higher than the other p&c alternative, "The Next Big Thing". I'm usually hesitant to get a game over a decade old though for the reasons M1sterDeeds mentions.. compatibility on modern hardware..

its a 12yo game, so what did you expect ?

hot as hell, as this is a great game. wish they would still make games so long and playable like they were back in the past.
todays games are made for 9 year old suburban kids...easy, short and don't require much thinking...

Although this is an older adventure game, I highly recommend it. I have played quite a few over the years, and this is one of my favourites!

I really liked this game, a good story and character to draw you in. Graphics are dated but it's a good one if you're a point and click adventure fan

That is quite funny seeing as... metacritic is an average of all review scores, hahahahaha

    I love you Phil.
