I got this set for £50 at woolies and thought it a bargain. Great for beginners though a bit short for me. Bargain at this price!

gripping too hard. You should only grip the club with any power with your left hand (if right handed). the right hand just has a loose grip for guidance in the swing.

get a glove (only about £3). Makes a big difference to those blisters.

Some great golf tuition videos here

good for a starter set - but if you are going to play, you would be better off spending more to get a decent set.

I bought these (and posted) and they are a great set for beginners, and will last as I (hopefully) get better!

I wouldn't buy a full set either, a half set is fine for a starter and much easier to carry,

I don't wear a glove but did regrip mine with corded grips as that is the only contact with the club it is to me the most important.

And a 4 mile walk is still a 4 mile walk whether you have golf clubs or not! :)

so you're hijacking a thread offering 45 quid clubs and telling people to spend 3 times more on your set?! Good job, Einstein.

Didn't know you were a golfer csi, where abouts do you play?

I've not played very much but quite like the game, I've played Hill Barn and Benfield Valley.

No, simply saying that spending a decent amount of money gets you a better set - not asking people to vote on the post, just giving an option. They might be 3 times more expensive but are 10 times better - get a life, knob

I'm not really any more as get extremely bored with playing full length 18 hole course. especially as I reached a certain standard and just stayed there (i.e rubbish).

I really should have taken lessons before starting as now stuck with some bad habits. Occasionally play on the short 9 hole at brooklands as its only a fiver.

Played hill barn loads of times, crawley tillgate and also seaford a couple of times. Woodingdean is pretty good.
