A little curious why you say that. If its a reference to the quality i.e. not really suitable for the serious user....I think you might be surprised. Dont know if you frequent Aldi but I find most of their offers like this are quite respectable quality. Sure.....made with a price in mind but still very usable, I think you will find this is no toy.

These are already instore at my local Aldi (Hengoed). I purchased one today and am really pleased with it.

Looks good..

I am a bit novice here...:p

What will be the range in meters ?? when they say it is 20x60???

cheers

I think the 20 is the diameter of the lens in mm and the 60 is the magnification ie objects will look 60 times closer.

I have purchased 1 and was that impressed I have bought another as a birthday present.

Been looking in neighbours bedrooms all night. Finally found something to get me off hotukdeals.

I bought one (two in fact) last time Aldi had them and 'for the money' they are very, very good. Great for bird watching and some minor astronomy... a full moon fills the viewfinder and I have been able to see Saturn with it, albeit quite small. Comes with a neat little tripod too.

Its the other way round - as in the OP - 60mm objective lens and 20x magnification.
