These may as well be called disposable umbrellas. You'll be lucky to get more than one use out of them even in moderate winds. However, brilliant solution if you're caught in rain and passing a Poundland store.

With what is planned for the UK this next quarter, as far as Mr Weather is concerned, worth having a bunch in your hall, garage, cars etc, at a pound each who cares if they are rubbish!
#28
They are rubbish and they got no chance in this wind !

You most definitely can!

A colleague of mine forgot his own brolly this morning, and grabbed one of these faced with a 15 minute walk from his bus to the office.

Literally standing outside the shop, opened it for the first time and the first gust of wind broke half of the arms/legs/spokes whatever, one of which ripped his leather glove!

It was hilarious for everyone in the office, not so for him.

The moral of the story.... You get what you pay for!

Great for a Xmas party night around town :)

Have one of these - survived a couple of trips. Watch your head though, as I am sure they make the spokes from razor blades

you're implying they should give you money for collateral damage...sounds fair to me

Hot just for the title!
#38
Hot for price.

Cold for quality. Be lucky to last 30 seconds in Scotland! (Hence why I have a gustbuster. Much more expensive obviously, but nigh on indestructible ...)

Or just use the money to buy a decent one that will last years?
