Do Sainsburys still only sell Fairtrade bananas?
Did complain to them some time ago about not offering a choice - they did respond to say they made a commercial decision to have only Fairtrade - since then have stopped shopping at Sainsburys altogether.
Fairtrade is not fair, doesnt do what it is supposed to do and as a consequence keeps product prices artificially high.
Boycott Fairtrade
RainForest Alliance's prinicples and economics actually work - and is a far cry from (Un)Fairtrade

You are an idiot.

Fair trade bananas supports many developing countries where bananas are the number one export. Their economies are dependent on fair trade. Also fair trade bananas from the Caribbean taste better!

Yes, they still only sell Fairtrade bananas. What's wrong with that? Helping people that need the money. Considering the price is always the same as other supermarkets, I don't see what your problem is!

The fact that you need to say they're fairtrade as if I give a monkeys (no pun intended) I wouldn't buy bananas cos they're fairtrade I only buy on price. They can stick their morals right up where the sun don't shine :p
