Nice - better than the dodgy £15 version that someone posted earlier, that only existed in a parallel universe.

It's dropped in price quickly ...

For those that don;t know - you can create a new account with a different email address and still use the code if you have already used it.

Should be available for under £20 by xmas from at least one retailer i would have thought. I'm very tempted by this as i have self imposed a maximum price of £20 for this box set.

Good find. Was waiting for the extended editions (as most people were I guess) but I've succumbed to this at this price...
#5
cannot use this code again :(
#6
Good deal! Very tempted... but think I'll try hold off for a while.

I bought it a while back from Tesco when it was around this price, great buy. Will still get the extended editions, but that's a long way away. Three fantastic films for just over £20 in glorious HD, yes please. That's my brothers birthday sorted anyway.

As above, just create a new account and use the code again.

Naaah...interesting this....I thought I might buy 'em when they reached £15-20 but apparently I have no interest in the 'shortened versions' now. These versions are just not the one's I like. I don't think you can say that about any other film. Just shows what a fantastic job they did with the 'extended' versions.

So, nice price but not for me.
#9
In my view they're dropping the price as they're not selling. Most people that want to see these movies in HD are waiting for the full, extended release. Once they come out the chances of shifting these theatrical versions will have diminshed.

I think they're just trying to move stock while they can.
#10
Nice price! I too prefer the extended versions but don't mind the 'theatrical' versions either. That said I'm still going to wait as I think theres a strong likelyhood that the extended version blu rays will include the theatrical versions too. But if i see this at set at £18 or below I certainly won't be able to resist.

Flawed PQ too, hopefully the EE will be much improved.
#12
Yeah hopefully it'll be worth the wait. Just like with Blade Runner!

Read my post above - just create a new account with a different email address

Definetly a good price. But i refuse to this whole buy this edition now only to have the extended edition come out later. They did that whole thing on DVD with I think tree different editions. That was bad enough. There is milking it and then there is taking the mick.
#15
Good deal. However i'm still not going to invest until i see the extended editions (its the principle of the thing)

George Lucas is the worst for doing that... I've lost count of how many Star Wars releases there's been.

But a genius, all the same!

I am tempted to buy these, as I have the EE versions on DVD but also actually have always wanted the theartical releases as well (think the 3rd film is better theartical than the too long EE version)

Shouldnt this offer be posted in the voucher section? the code FTSL15-1 has been posted so many times now and could be applied to a million items. Just my two pennies worth.

I agree 100% - there have been 100's of posts off this one code.

Although, to be fair, £24.99 on its own is a decent price for this.

Are the extended editions definitely coming out on blu?
#23
Holding out for extended versions

Yeah they will eventually come out, but you're looking the tail end of 2011, even into 2012. I couldn't wait, so bought this. Will just get the extended editions when they come out.

No, as its £25 on its own...which is the cheapest Ive seen, the voucher is a bonus

No, £25 is a reasonable price but its been posted here more than once at a cheaper price. The price listed by the poster at £21.24 clearly takes into account the the Tesco voucher reduction and therefore the voucher is integral and not a bonus. Therefore you are wrong.
#30
If you include the voucher in the price, then you should list it in the voucher section, end of.
#31
Good deal, even though it's not the extended it's still good. voted hot

I ordered, though had to make a new account as had 'used' the code before (when I ordered and cancelled SMG2) :(

I cant remember this £25 or cheaper before now, unless you can show me? Otherwise I would have bought it. It was around £27 from zavvi...

Yes the poster put the voucher in but like I said £25 is very cheap for this, some people may have got it without the voucher, I would...but nice for me I havent used it yet

Correct. Even Terminator 2 looks better than this peice of crap BR release.

Dont waste your money! If you really want to see it in HD, Torrent it, then buy the extended editions when they are released.
#38
Just me that prefers the theatrical cut then?
#39
like many others, good price (so voted hot) but i'm waiting for the EE's... maybe i should think about selling my EE versions (i'm keeping the figurines though!)

I prefer the theatrical version of ROTK, have the EE versions (plus models) on DVD so will just own the blu ray Cinema releases as I always wanted both

I set up a new account to order though, but took the opp to order some xbox live points as well haha
