I would rather have this version of the movies, the extended versions drag on too long and add nothing interesting imo.

I realise I'm in the minority prefering the theatrical versions

It's about choice, both versions are great, but to double dip on bd as well as dvd is plain wrong.
Not a bad price for the three though.

Suppose we were all theatrical lovers until the extended versions came along! I treat the extended versions as 6 films. I'd agree that watching them one 4hr film can be a bit much for an evening.

dont trust tesco hey are one of the worst dishonest companys around go to amazon for the same price or blockbuster

you wil have a long wait then cos Peter Jackson is concentrating on the hobbit at the moment, so dont expect anything until next year at the earliest.
#10
I wish they just waited and got the extended cut scenes sorted... if they got them they could have included both theatrical and extended cut on one Blu-ray without any loss of quality
#11
cold as these are overpriced for regular editions and Tesco Entertainment is the worst online company

Would not have thought Peter would not be needed for the bd transfer of the extended editions unless they are "extended" extended editions, but could be wrong

amazon have price matched this now (compare)
