Well I'm addicted, it is a nearly 10 year old game though, the gfx are good, but it pounds your cpu as it was written before multi-core cpus were popular, so it can saturate a single core while your PC reports cpu usage of 10-20%.

A high GHz dual core is better than a lower GHz mult-icore.

The game world is HUGE though, and gets bigger every release.

Sadly I have never played Elder Scrolls, so I cannot compare.

I just watched this review for the game from around 10 months ago , looks to be a okay game for a freebie....

Didn't feel it had the scope or player base of most Asian mmorpgs....however also not as casual as European mmorpg's.
Meanwhile ESO really works in introducing newcomers to the genre.
Opinions aside, a deal is a deal at the end of the day!

The guy went in not knowing much, and didnt really read anything either; the first 10 levels are a bit restrictive, but as your level increases you "learn new skills, both combat and others. There are also a range of weapon options that differ between classes.

If you buy ANYTHING from the store, even the cheapest item, you get FIVE character slots, instead of two.

If you dont buy premium, you can get your own horse at level 20, and a war horse at around level 55.

There are different ways to play, some play the skirmish game, fighting each other as good guys or monsters.

You can explore the world and follow the quest lines as you progress.

You can Role Play, Bree Town is very popular for this
