What you saying I got to wind this up?
#18
Nope.

An automatic winds via wrist movement.

A quartz movement is regulated by a quartz crystal

Mine arrived yesterday, very nice watch. Also has an alarm which isn't mentioned in the details.

Now I can't make my mind up whether to do the strap adjustment myself or send it off.

Also got mine and excellent watch for the price. Was thinking the same as you about adjusting the strap and decided to do it myself. Got a strap adjuster from eBay for just over £1 delivered and it cannot be rocket science to do it yourself. It'll cost more for the postage back to Lorus than for the eBay item and loads of info on the web on how to do it yourself. If it goes badly wrong then there is always somewhere local to sort it out.....I hope!!! :w00t:

I ended up doing it myself with a small screwdriver and small pair of pliers, didn't even know you could get a tool for it  I managed to scratch one of the links and draw blood but I just swapped the link for an undamaged one I had removed and stuck a plaster on my finger! I think I need to invest in the correct tool for future watch strap adjustments!

Just search eBay under 'watch link adjuster/remover' and they'll come up and some are around the £1 mark delivered from Hong Kong - it's basically the same tool as a dealer uses; now prepared to be shot down in flames by all watch specialists!! However, I hope you wont need it now as you've sorted the issue - until you purchase your next watch on HUKD at a stupidly low price!!!
