LOST Complete Season 1-6 Box Set (DVD) is £55 at Tesco just now but use the 15% discount code (thanks to millarcat) and it brings it down to £46.75 delivered. It's a first time user code so if you're already registered then you'll have to use another email address. Next cheapest is £60 at Zavvi, Amazon is £97. Not a bad price for anyone who hasn't seen it and not fussed for blu ray.

PLEASE NOTE this is the DVD set and NOT blu ray - but then you probably worked that out for yourself anyway, considering the price and that the blu ray sets are around £170..

Strange isn't how not so many years back we could watch VHS and amazingly still enjoy the program; now we have WS rubbishing a deal because it isn't £70 more expensive blu-ray.

Hot price.

I don't buy DVDs as I have a 1080p PJ and yes you can see and hear the difference.

IF it was BluRay I'd give heat, but as the OP couldn't be arsed pointing out what format it was in COLD. If it'd said DVD I wouldn't even have looked in.

So true - as I said above its a good buy for anyone not sucked into the blu ray fuss. I couldn't give a monkeys about blu ray tbh, I watch a dvd then move on to something else, life's too short to worry about seeing someone's plooks in all its glory.

Walter is probably still hungover from Sunday, plus he was always was a miserable git X)

Calm down - what a state to get yourself into over a DVD set. It was stated in the description that it was DVD and for anyone not fussed for blu ray but I have now changed it to show DVD in the title as well to make it SIMPLE for you.

Think the price in the title actually spoke volumes on what it would be - did you honestly think you would get this in blu ray for under £50?????? oO

you feel cheated at wasting 6 years of your life sticking with it!

series 4/5 really picks up. The writers planned to end the show at Series 6, so they began to tie up loose ends etc. Well worth hanging in there for the last couple of series!

More questions were left unanswered than were answered. I loved ithe show, but I felt cheated at the end of S6 that the writers had no clear vision, and were making it up as they went along.

The ending was awesome, but most people lack the IQ to figure it out, and then give up and cry and bitch on the internet.

Apart from season 4, which was still good, every season was awesome, and the ending was completely unexpected in a sense that it was so emotional, where as most people were probably expecting a huge climax with a typical LOST cliffhanger.

That was the whole point of the show. There were always questions left unanswered even from season 1, you're supposed to use your imagination. Not every show has to hold your hand and reveal everything. The fact that people are still confused about it shows how much of a success the show was.

Yeh the end was a joke, the writers clearly had no idea where the story was going to end and just kept throwing in wacky situations in hope it would keep the viewing figures up as they wanted to unravel the mystery.

Rest of the series was good but I just couldn't watch it again knowing it wasn't going anywhere.

The "use your imagination" card is always shown when a series just dosn't deliver at the end.

Was it rushed (like they say)? was it just poor script writing? or was it a comination of both? thats the real mystery of Lost.

The ending was an ending to the season (which was dire) not the series as a whole , they introduced this whole crap side story in season 6 and gave us an ending to that instead of what we had been watching for 6 years.

Code doesn't work. Says can't be used.

If you have used the code before then don't think you can use a second time, unless you register with a different email address and it will work again.

This is where you are wrong. Think about the poor souls who kept websites like Lostpedia up to date, the ones that looked in-depth into time travel theories and the Egyptian symbolism. The ending effectively rendered the events of previous seasons utterly pointless and it left me and countless others feeling cheated. Lost was a SCI-FI show, so the ending should have been SCIENCE FICTION. Not religious stroke drama stroke fantasy bullcrap. Give me a break.

Let me guess, you are one of the ones who thinks you need a high IQ to understand Inception too? Watch Mullholland Drive and we'll see how easily your super IQ can get around a true mind**** of a movie!

You know a show ends badly when fan theories that bettered it came out before the show even ended. The writer's should have at least cheated off them rather than the B-S they served up.
I've never felt so bad for forcing a show down people's necks only to find that at the end, it didn't do itself justice.

No they didn't. There wasn't a "side story," as we found out in the last episode...

Striker, the writers said they could explain everything, but when it came to the crunch, we got nothing. Sorry mate but you sound like a total dumbass whose easily pleased.

You know what they say about opinions and a**holes. This series ruled my life while it was broadcast and I miss it badly now.
I loved the ending and if you want the missing answers, just watch the extra bit that was added to the box-set.
The alternate timeline that was added in season 6 was used just to say goodbye to the brilliant characters in a fitting way. In that respect the ending wasn't really the ending. More of an encore.
The people who say the wasted six years of their life annoy me. They are saying because the ending wasn't to their liking, all those hours of following and enjoying the series must have actually been rubbish also. Sort of like judging a book by it's cover isn't it.

Exactly my threshold too, seriously regretting not picking up at £99.99 with a 10% discount at Zavvi about 4 months back now, but I seriously believed that it would be sub 70 in a matter of weeks then. Yet to see it get anywhere near that sort of value again.

Can't believe how its holding its price to be honest, who's buying it at £140 to maintain the price at that level?

Do you realise how cringeworthy it is to suggest that you are somehow more intelligent that most other Lost viewers? Take a step back and realise that you are probably not all that in the brains department compared to a fair amount of other people. Have some humility for goodness' sake.

P.S. The ending was a joke. Great US TV shows are ruined by the business model (i.e. advertisements) imo. Bleed the series dry until the inevitable ratings drop and then dump it quicker than you can say 'where's my proper ending at?'). Vivre HBO!

P.P.S. Voted luke-warm.

I don't think IQ has anything to do with it at all, perhaps those with higher IQs are going to be questioning more and therefore be less satisfied with the overall result.

I do however imagine its got something to do with watching something so intricate over such an elongated time period. Try to understand anything by reading about it once a week over a six year period and you're going to struggle. If you were going to succeed it would more than likely be because most things you learn, you build on knowledge as you go along, so what you learn year 5 week 12 isn't linked directly and only to what you learnt year 2 week 4.

It's for this reason I find it laughable that people wouldn't give it another chance because they didn't enjoy it first time round, its a show that clearly lends itself better to a shorter time period between watching.
