As above, good price, but have to wait for the blu-ray to come down in price then I will get the whole lot I think. I already have most series on dvd anyway! Thanks for posting OP

Very hot! I'll wait til it drops far, far lower though. I know I might have to wait a good few years!

Keep your eye on Morrisons. :) They seem to randomly massively undercut people on DVD boxsets, for some reason.

I loved watching Lost on the TV, but I would never watch it again. Still, hot deal.

so....were they actually dead? lol

Lost went to 6 seasons? I had no idea it was on for that long. I was an addict for season 1 and 2 but then, well, I lost track of the plot. Would be good to watch at some point just to see how it all ended.

I watched them all back to back (not at the same time though!). Season 1 and 2 mostly made sense but then the plot went a little crazy in seasons 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 were just nutty, almost as if the writers had lost all respect for tying the story together.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother....

I thought the whole series (including the end) was awesome. Series 3 had a dip in the first half but it finished really strongly. Considering some people looking at this deal will have never seen it though try to keep spoilers to a minimum. Waiting for the blu ray to be a decent price myself as others have said.

I don't like commenting negatively on stuff that others may enjoy but I agree.
Many hours of my life I will never get back.

I agree with JC82. I watched all the seasons back to back, episode after episode over a short period of time and loved every episode. I too thought most of the questions were answered and those that wernt, you need to use your imagination and make things fit.

Most people watched it on tv over many years, perhaps missed some episodes and theres allot to take in a retain and when its spanned over a prolonged period, you wont remember all the little details, which are sometimes needed to make sense of things later on.

Ive read so many peoples comments since the final episode and i just cannot understand it. Either people are really dumb, or its the aforementioned scenario. Or its just not their cup of tea.

Have watched the first 3 seasons..so now i can watch the remaining three as well ..Nice deal Voted hot!!!

Too many unanswered questions for my liking. The fact that the island (whispers/"ghosts") and the "flashsideways" (everyone) were both purgatory really annoyed me, after the writers/producers saying "it isnt purgatory". And who shot at Juliet on the outrigger, dammit? Why introduce something so trivial without paying it off.

Not worth watching if you've not yet seen the show, otherwise you'll be informed of all the stuff you're never going to be informed about.

It wasn't purgatory though, when they died on the island, or 'completed' the island, they went to the church in the flash sideways to wait for the group to come together again; what happened on the island happened just as true as what happened in the flash sideways happened. Or at least that's how I understood it.

The Island was just a potential outcome of their lives, if you like a parallel universe which occurred because of the conditions which the plane flew through, just like quantum physics suggests is not just probable, but actually likely

The beautiful thing about it (parallel universes and the concept that lost built on) is that for all you know every time you make a life changing decision (or any decision) a parallel universe could spout up, which you have no concept of. All lost did was suggest this actually happens, and that they can have impacts on each other (who can say that IF the exist, they don't... for instance what is deja vu all about?!) and that they have to culminate in one outcome.

I don't think it was anything about purgatory.

*Waits for... he spoiled it for everyone who hasn't seen the ending... oh my gosh! response*

For those who have watched it: *spoiler* alert:

Most of the unsolved mysteries - with the episode number they were introduced and the episode they were resolved is - well most of them is here:

Amazing and addictive, I wish they would make a movie on it minus the purgatory.

It definitely DOES NOT answer 99.9%! For starters who's Widmore and what was his intentions? What happened to the other survivors from the crash that we often saw? Why was there no explanation on what the island was actually about. Why were scientists there? What were the whispers?

It used a method that has made humans mindlessly 'believe' for over two thousand years (more if you take into account all the other religions). It was a cheap ploy and I find it incredible people think it explained everything. And don't use the 'too dumb to understand' because it was Lost's most hardcore fans who found the last season a horrendous kopout. Just because you watched it back-to-back over the course of a few weeks doesn't make you a hardcore follower. It's the poor sods that set up things like Lostpedia, or who spent time discussing it weekly on forums that saw the explanation to be insulting and a cheap ploy.

The show, for the most part was sci-fi, theories of time travel, alternate timelimes/dimensions... THAT's what made Lost awesome. Think of all the time people spent trying to decipher it all only to be slapped in the face with a kop-out like that. Could you imagine the nerdgasm if they'd actually thought out the finale and involved something truly supernatural or not 'of this world'.

Shame really. Because of that ridiculous ending I'm sure they put so many people off buying the complete box set.

are you joking?? The island was a place in which they made the transition to the next life etc etc could go further into detail but the island was what it was.

Michael was stuck in purgatory, when he spoke to Hurley, showed him where Flocke was and apologised for Libby. The whispers are people who can't "move on" - the temporal punishment side to purgatory. The "ALT" timeline was the purgatory they all created to meet up, before moving on - the cleansing side to purgatory. Once Desmond explained what was going on to them, and they accepted it, they would be cleansed, and happy. Christian explained to Jack that "there is no now, here" and they weren't leaving, but moving on.

The island and everything that happened was real, but for Michael is was also his purgatory for his sins. Once Jack and the others died on the island, they were sent to their personal purgatory.

Are YOU joking? The island was a real place and nothing to do with moving on to the next life. It was a part of everyone's life who was there.
