IMO the greatest TV series ever and a great price for those wanting every season and a full £50 cheaper than Amazon and £25 is cheaper than the already released boxsets are retailing for.

release date is September 13th

I agree, greatest TV series ever. But they completely wrecked it with the worst possible ending ever.

I have had this for a while but obviously not the original boxset. Wifey is going to divorce me though as i watch 3 episodes every night. Nearly finished the 5th season so only one left. It is so addictive. Thank God the footie is starting again as i would have nothing else to watch :)

Do yourself a favour and just end it at the fifth season. You will feel much better.

This will hit the £90 fairly soon I would think. Anyone care to guess best price it will be on this site?

Not a brilliant price to be honest and, although I agree it was a great series, I can't ever imagine wanting to watch the whole thing over again!

id say great price but is it worth a second watch threw this centuary? might wait till it goes down and try to forget the ending...
HOT PRICE FOR A NEW RELEASE THOUGH, HMV each season £50 SALE. BARGIN!!
#13
Ridiculous price.
#14
I can't see the £150 tag staying long, sub £100 by the end of the year easy.
#15
As usual, we get the **** box set with no cool packaging or bonuses, I'll be importing from the US because of the lack of actual effort they make for the UK market, they seem to think it's 'anything will do'.
#16
Great price so far. I can't believe Amazon tried to get away with £270 for the bluray set when it first came out for pre-order!!

I prefer this packaging because it sits on my shelf easier. That said, I'll hold off ordering until nearer release date so hopefully the price will reduce closer to £100.
#17
You can import the US blu ray version with all the extras for about £130 shipped from Amazon.com, but no one is sure if it's totally region free or not. Plus you might get stung for about £40 in import tax and charges if it gets caught by customs.

For anyone who hasnt seen it and thinks they'll give it a go they were all dead... now ive just saved you £150 (i might post THAT as a deal myself)

I absolutely loved the show up until series 6 because they teased you to death with all the bizzarre mysteries that would eventually be explained....er...wouldn't they :|

People that try to defend the ending to Lost say that "you just didn't get it". Well I DID get it - it's just that at it's a pi$$ poor ending because it explained NOTHING except for the series 6 "flash sideways" bits. That's great, but there were another 5 series that still needed explanations for tons of stuff otherwise it's just a load of random things that didn't make sense!!! The numbers, the polar bears, the time travel, the purpose of the island....etc, etc.

Sorry, I started to get a bit carried away there!

I loved the ending, even if they did explain everything, some people would be saying, ' that's a crap explanation', not everyone would be happy, so they leave alot of it to your own interpretation, leave as a mystery. The island had special properties, the darma people tried to tap into the power, they brought the animal, including the polar bears and the horses. I for one would love to watch the entire series from the beginning knowing what I know now, it would be a different experience.Although i think I will wait till this price drops a wee bit.

It would have been one of the greatest if they'd kept it to two or three series. The supposed unpredictability of the episodes become so tiresome, and ultimately VERY predictable!

Very overrated in my opinion. Can't even watch it now, and I was a HUGE fan to begin with. Not even interested how it all ends.

Is this a joke, or are you really that simple? It has to be a joke, no one could fail to grasp the ending so completely.

So they arent all dead?
Please tell me you dont think they all just turned up for a wedding or a christening at the end!

You might want to look at how 'broad' my original comment was and tell me if im wrong?
infact dont bother...

I think tbh you're a bit of a muppet for trying to ruin the series for people here. It's only that you didn't understand what was happening that you didn't manage to. But it's clear you didn't get it.
