Shame; it's one of the best and highest rated RPG's on the XBox360

Impatience lost you a good game. Probably my favourite RPG this gen so far other than Mass effect 2.

As everyone else has said this is a great RPG, well worth a punt as you'll get a lot of gaming out of it!

£5 preowned in gamestation the now i noticed. Few other fiver ones too - Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean, Blue Dragon and something else i canny remember.

Yep best JRPG on the 360 by far, must buy if you like the 'classic' style of old Final Fantasy games (up to X) and hate the new style like I do.

This game is odd in that some of the hardest enemies are at the start. I think I know which one you're talking about, it was pretty tough to get through but after that things are pretty simple in terms of boss fights unless you push to level 99 to do the harder acheivements.

Awesome traditional JRPG... no messing around trying to make the battlesystem do this or do that or changing the environments to be tunnels like they did in FF13... This is probably the best JRPG on the next gen consoles... It is a bit of a slow start - but bare with it - its awesome!

This took a long time to come down to this price.

This game is fantastic, one of the best RPGs out there. Much better than FF13 I think, a must for any fan of FFX

Don't be put off by loading times, just install the game and the game will load much quicker :)

It was £4.99 at PC World a couple of years ago.

It seemed quite good but I got stuck against an enemy seemingly defended by loading screens. I had other games to play and never went back to it.

i aslo got bored of this after an hour or so of playing. from what i remember in this time other than direction control i only needed one button to kill the enemies. it may have got better. and load time was a killer on the mood.

if you have loads of patience and love RPGs then give it ago.

Nearly all RPGs start slowly.

I really enjoyed Lost Odyssey, and it's superior to FF XIII. The battle system is like FF VII, it has great characters (ie Jansen), and a great story, and is great value for money at £9.

£6 at cex too if anyone is interested. i liked the game for the few hours i played, but the fact its 4 discs put me off a lot, i dont have time to invest in one game like that. i have a short attention span so it didnt really help with oh look a bee!

I've been playing RPGs all my life and I thought this game was far too much hard work, boring dialogue, running, backtracking and grinding as opposed to FF13 which is a refreshing break in comparison. I've got RPG fatigue though and this is about the most RPGey RPG there ever was.

Bought this ages ago in a £5 deal new. Still haven't got round to playing it though yet

Again, probably my favorite JRPG of this generation (Resonance of Fate a close second) however I couldn't finish it as I got a one of a number of copies that came with a faulty fourth disc. Didn't even bother contacting Microsoft about as I would likely be banging my head against a wall. If you've got the game sat on the shelf I would try running an installation on the fourth disc to see if, like myself, you will hit a wall that grinding won't solve.

Absolutely brilliant game, on the third dvd now. Yes, slowpoke, I know. I think it's 7 pounds at CEX if you don't care if it's new.

I can't stand anything Japanese usually but I liked this game. So it must be pretty good.
