Lost Planet: Colonies for X360, by Capcom. About a 80% on Metacritic. This is the classics version, obviously because it's the 'Colonies' version. The PS3 port doesn't have Colonies expansion pack, neither does the non-Classics version of the game.

Next cheapest I think is GAME.com for about £9.73 or so.

The Hut now has a rewards points system called iPoints, which equates to about 2.5% return value.

great post, been after this for a year at a decent price

note that if you use quidco and have never used sendit you can get it for £7.89 but with 10% quidco which works out at £7.10, you also get ipoints (note sendit are the only store saying within 72 hrs, the others say 2-4 weeks, so may take a while)

if you have used sendit before and use quidco, you can also get it for £7.93 from lovefilm with 8% quidco, which makes it £7.29 provided it tracks ok

Nice price. January pay check is still a few days away though...

I want this on ps3

not a good game, its ok but not bad for 7.73, not for me tho
#9
Diagree, it's a brilliant game. And despite it being quite and old game, it looks just fantastic, and has one of the most addictive multiplayers around.
#10
I don't think the game is brilliant I still think it's enjoyable enough especially at this price, there's too many frustrating parts especially with the control system that pull the game down.

there are lots of better games out there even for this price...like rainbow Six 1 or 2
the control system was dreadful and it felt way too linear and dull for my liking

Great game, enjoyed this.

Well worth the money.

Both offers from the HUT and sendit have expired as far as I could tell. I am considering getting this anyway.

I already have the Extreme condition original.

I am really enjoying the single player. I played online once. While I wasn't too good :) I saw enough to make me think I'd enjoy it alot if I got better at it.

I am just wondering if it is worth my while to get the colonies edition too. Ideally input from people who own/ have played both.

I know that you can play online against PC users. Any other differences in online play?
Do more people play colonies online than the original?

I heard a few people say it is laggy.
Is it really bad frequency of lag spikes or duration of lag spikes or both?
Does playing only with people in your country/ region help?

What about the single player? Is it any differernt at all? The save system of the original leaves alot to be desired. It would good if this was improved.

Any other important differences to consider?

I appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks.
