Marstons Pedigree and Wells Bombardier are both very nice indeed and well worth £1 a bottle.

I dissagree.
Some lager tastes absolutely HORRIBLE! :|

I'm very partial to the Porter myself. Same as Sainsburys Taste the Difference Porter they were doing a few weeks ago......

Weird, only hit 52D on THIS THREAD

Shows the fickleness of this site...........or the timing of the post - who knows.

Was about to ask how much they are usually but looked on the ASDA site (£1.67)

Cheers for this. Being an ale drinker myself, i'll be ordering some Abbot, Bishop's Finger and Goliath for the weekend. :)

me, my mate, my dad have all loaded up on this deal... Seen lots of people loading up on it as well when been there... Hopefully the larger drinkers will grab a few so they can compare what REAL beer tastes like... MEN'S beer LOL... :p

I experienced the same thing myself with a deal I posted for power supply. A slightly more expensive deal got more heat than mine for the same item. May be a question of timing.

Looks good. Best of the bunch, anyone?

Best i could do was whittle it down to a top 5.

Bishop's Finger (500ml)
Spitfire (500ml)
Wychwood Brewery Goliath (500ml)
Badger Fursty Ferret (500ml)
Badger Tanglefoot (500ml)

Cracking deal anyhoo. Voted hot.

FWIW buy 15 fursty Ferrets and get a free shirt (you need to sent the caps in so make sure they are all the T shirt badged ones).

Not great as it's still £15 of beer for a £15 shirt, but it's better than £25's worth of beer for the free shirt and the beers a bonus.

The Guiness is actually Guiness Foreign Export, about 7% a bottle and absolutely gorgeous. For me it's easily the best beer in the offer, although the porter is pretty good too.
#22
Great deal, you sometimes see them for a quid in LIDL but its never a good selection like this, just the big four
#23
CHEERS!
#24
Half a litre of gentleman jack for a quid, now thats not bad! Shame its the beer and not the whisky though!

But that's some enjoyable drinking to get there, £15 for 15 bottles of Fursty Ferret is deal enough for me without the shirt;)

Nice one. I've got a real taste for Tanglefoot ATM - lovely stuff.

Technically these bottled beers are no more real ale than the tasteless gassy lagers you refer to. Proper real ale in a bottle should be "bottle conditioned" and bear a sticker saying "CAMRA says this is real ale".

These aren't exactly bad beers, but let's not pretend they're genuine real ale.

True but these can be drunk in the kitched during the unpacking of the shopping as a reward. RAIB needs a whille to settle to prevent it passing through you fast.

12 bottles of Bombardier.Nice....
Bonus too as I needed more 500ml empties for my home brew.

Don,t need self appointed experts at CAMRA to tell me which is Good Ale
