I posted this deal earlier but expired it due to the small print claiming you are agreeing to a 12 month contract, ill ring them tomorrow to confirm.
The deal I posted " Free ridge racer 3d with 6 issues for £19.99 plus possible £7 quidco"

And here are the terms and conditions......

When do they take the £1 out and when can you cancel?

Ive been doing this for 2 year with CustomPC and PcPro and they always send you a letter telling you the DD date payment will be taken and it always around a month away depending on the date the last mag was sent and how long it is before they send you your mag, Ive just received My mag which i ordered ages ago and they only took payment a few days ago and when they did i cancelled it straight away so you will have loads of time.

Thanks for that, so is it usually around the second issue? Did you just cancel the DD or did you contact them? Thanks again.

They send a letter wait for the letter and it will tell you the exact date it will be taken, check your DD and when a payments gone out just cancel the DD and that is the end of it.

From the F&Q, all the mags i have are from Dennis publishing and ive never had any trouble they have even phoned me and asked me if i would like another trial. I once rang them about this and they told me just stop the DD or email us and stop the DD.
"All cancellation requests must be made direct to the publisher, whose contact details can be found on your order confirmation email. If you don't have your order confirmation email search the magazine telephone directory here"

Re 12 month contract, what do you lot think they do if you cancel dd? Court, prison or nothing?
#21
I phoned to cancel one, and they said you have already cancelled the DD at your bank so we can't take it anyway, I was quite shocked they knew :) though I presume that means your in the clear once it's cancelled.

I will just wait and see but certainly wont be losing sleep over not getting Quidco after getting 3 great mags for £1 :)

Anyone concerned about taking one of these trials on - dont be. I have had LOADS of these and always cancel after the £1 has been taken from my bank. Never had a phone call or a letter other than the original letter with confirmation

You won't get quidco, it'll be cancelled.

Any company whose customer cancels a direct debit at their bank are notified - at my work we have to trawl through loads of paperwork sorting out people who've cancelled direct debits (_;)
