•A FREE Sony USB Media Player with built in Wi-Fi worth £77.99. Use it to access LOVEFiLM on any TV, as well as many other applications to watch video
Total price of £119.88 for 12 months of LOVEFiLM - with a FREE Sony Media Player worth £77.99. This is equal to just £9.99 a month.

Any savvy shopper wouldn't be paying full whack for the Lovefilm subscription. recent deals include 6 months for £17.50 from amazon effectively £35 for the year. Taken off your deal that takes £85 left for the Media player.... I doubt it's truly worth that.

Well, it's on Amazon for £80 and looks well featured for a LAN player. Plus you get the cashback that you may not get on other deals.
It looks like a good current deal, but take it or leave it :)

Your going to want an unlimited streaming subscription in order to make good use of the media player.
Was that £17.50?
Expired Amazon lightning deal, so as long as you happened to be on that page for those few seconds you were in luck :)

Yes the £17.50 includes streaming (Not sure if it was unlimited or not, but I believe so). On a different note I wasn't impressed with the streaming quality... it was virtually unwatchable for me with regular short pauses. I was playing direct through my PC with a decent (10mb/s) broadband connection but may have been hardware (graphics related).
The lightning deals were repeated over several days and were well advertised on here. I turned up several hours late for one of the deals and went into a queue for about 5 minutes before being offered one so in my mind wasn't that difficult to get if you showed a bit of interest.

Ok maybe not as bad as I expected then, I couldn't get through to the deal to check the media player but just assumed that when a deal advertises a free product being worth £77 then it's usually worth a lot less in reality.
Was just trying to give an explanation for my cold vote as I know people usually want that rather than just a hit and run.
No offence taken X)
My angle was actually if you're after a media player the Lovefilm is a relatively cheap bonus :)

I stream Love film and have no problems through a Panasonic Tv. I got 2 £17.50 love-film vouchers and have applied 1 and upgraded it to allow ps3 games, also the distribution of discs is excellent and I have to say 10/10 for love-film customer service. The content on Love film free streaming may not blow you away but there is lots to chose from and have to say that we are pleased to have swapped sky for this. I rarely even turn on the sky box now to be honest (freesat through sky box)

Yep - was a good deal you posted. Unfortunately had sold out by the time I got there!

I'm probably one of the few people who hasn't signed up to lovefilm ever! Is it worth it? Don't know if I should plunge for this or take a free trial and get my £15 quidco :D
