Wouldn't touch 'em with a 10 foot barge pole! Most of the discs they sent me played fine for about half of the film, then pixelated & couldn't be watched any further, their staff were rude & unhelpful & then when I canceled they didn't register the last discs as returned on my account for 2 weeks, which meant they took another month's money & canceled my account with just under a month to run! Took my money, had no intention of providing the service. Refunded after a written complaint, but I'd rather spend £11.99 on a few cheap DVDs a month to keep than waste my money with this lot again!

I thought Tesco used Lovefilm for their rental service? This was a couple of years ago, but I assume they're still using them.

They use their catalogue yes, but use 2nd class postage.

Good deal to be honest.

However the comments about Tesco are rather unfair as the packages are the same just separated by the difference in price and the branding. Both offer lower packages all done by 2nd class post for lower use customers and both do top tier package like this all done with first class post. So really not fair to compare two services that are not even similar.

As for the disks, a lint free cloth ready to wipe each disk clean is always a good idea. Never had any real issues in the year we have had LoveFilm and the just over a year with Tesco. Once had a disk in the wrongly sent, returned it and they added the missing disk plus a free extra one as an apology. Also had a broken disk delivered and they did the exact same thing. Cannot complain.

Do you know know how many discs this offer includes? The 1 disc at a time offer for games & dvds is actually £11.22 on the site?

How does this work then? Is it available anywhere other than Sutton High Street?

2 disks at a time based on love films pricing and what has been said by the poster.

Worth asking your local booth for the saving but looking at it if you dont really need the games I'd go for the gift box as games on most packages seems to be about £1 more a month to add it.
this deal 11.99 * 12 = 143.88
gift box £131.00/12 = 10.92

Plus the gift box comes with a free DVD or book.

I tried there free trial. I was most interested in streaming to my ps3. However, the range of titles available for streaming to ps3 is really poor and most of them are really old. Had difficulty cancelling the free trial so cold from me.

been a member for years, only had one nonworking disc in about 100-120 i've had from them, the free films online are better than channel hopping s**t on TV for hours as there are a few classics on there and plenty of ones to take a gamble on, for free of course.
Seems like this deal is a good one, esp for the free games in that price, voted hot

I had a free trial and they cancelled it with no quibbles and even extended it by a few days in order to allow me to return the last disc I had. This was because they sent an extra disc as a replacement for a broken one even though I had deliberately emptied my queue to avoid having any further discs sent near the end of the trial.
