Hmmmm. Clearly you've never worked in retail..............

That's quite a modest markup to be honest. I've seen items bought in at £1 being sold at £5 or £6. And some even more extreme examples than that.

Actually quite like the idea of the dog lead, more as a trainer lead for young kids when out with there parents though. Good to teach responsibilities from a young age.

The cathouse thing is pants though!!

Yea, we used to attach an old lead we had, and the proper lead, to the dogs harness so that my cousins felt like they were holding the dog because they kept asking too but we didnt feel safe letting them.

Ohhhh noooooo!!

On a side note, was discussing this with mates yesterday and I think the "lovers lead" might have worked a lot better if it was aimed at children - obviously with a diff name - as then there would be no arguments about who gets to hold the lead and walk the dog, seems like a better market to me. Both ideas are pretty crap though

i thought that pets at home didn't like them and only wanted to buy 50...did they change their mind??
for the price it hardly seemed a risk to try a few hundred.
they just need to release different models like the buyer wanted (less boy focused), maybe a castle?

If PANTSMAN can not sell these, they must be PANTS.

I always wanted one of them lovers leads!

NEED TO ADD that the lovers lead can double as a GIGANTIC ELEPHANT G-STRING at the same time.

VOTED: SCORCHING HOT!!!!!!!!

Why would anyone pay almost £20 for a bit of cardboard?

Get a box from a supermarket for free!

"Wisdom often speaks through the mouths of idiots". The leads will catch on with the parent market!

why the hell would someone want a lovers dog lead, its a dogs lead"(tina turner) whats love gotta do with it ", for the lovers just hold each others hands or show your love in another way, silly idea two grabs attached to a dog lead, dont seem how its any good for a trainer lead, surely the balance wouldnt be right for the kid as lead would be at a side angle, why not just let a kid hold a normal lead and try walk on side of him, let them learn the proper way of holding a lead themselves

Then post it where it belongs - Under misc or better still, nonsense, along with all of the other 'Joke' threads.

Well, I'm voting HOT! The playhouses were RRP £14.99, so £9.78 is a good deal ;-)
#23
can't bel those cat houses are actually being sold they are so crap
#24
Oh dear, is this the coldest thread?

I was just pointing out that a 100% markup is NOT UNUSUAL for large retailers. I worked in retail (a long time ago) for a major UK store, and had some involvement in the product buying process.

So how does that make me a numpty? It's clear that you are an idiot, however.

You mean a shop.

No, I mean retail. Retail covers much more than just a "shop". Look it up in the dictionary. If you can read, that is.
