It's only a few £ cheaper than posted recently sold by Amazon so it's not unfeasible that it's legit

Too cheap - It is most likely a fake at that price.

Sorry if this is a stupid qn: if I bought an card reader could I use these in a similar manner to standard flash drives? It's for music, movies etc

Get a good reader then sure. Best off buying a 64GB USB flash drive.

Thanks for the advice. I will keep an eye on this site for a flash drive. They seem to come up a lot .

What exactly does the lifetime warranty mean?
If it fails during its lifetime and you return it, surely they’ll say that now that it has failed it is therefore by definition past its lifetime, and consequently out of warranty.

That's an unusual interpretation of lifetime warranty.
Under EU law, most consumer tech items have an expected lifetime of around 5 years. By the time 5 years are up, you won't be using this card anyway :).
So just buy it, and know that if it does fail, they'll replace it.

£1.14 more gets you a 'fulfilled by Amazon' product (with the inherent returns benefits etc). It also has 270 positive reviews @ 4.6/5*

Give it a go at that price, I'm only going to use it in a Chromebook.
ordered. will give it a shot in my nice sparkling new canon m :)
Great price. I wish the micro sd cards were this price as I don't have any devices that take the standard sd size.
Have used these for a while, had no issues so far.
voted hot for the great price, but personally, I would rather pay another few quid and a get a Transcend or a Sandisk one. Would make me nervous having 64Gb of video on an 'unbranded' card.

SanDisk ain't gonna be happy; Samsung may have another court case on their hands... They certainly look better than the all black variety, at least they may be easier to find when you drop them by mistake...

No Comment ..... lol
Ps.
Sandisk is Bright Red .. this is Bright Orange?, so .....

I don't know .. we'll see I guess? lol.

Ha - check out the Transcend 32GB deal here on HUKD; Transcend pretty much went all the way "copying" SanDisk's red/black look - just stopped short of putting "SanDisk" on it as well ;)

I'm actually liking Samsung's design more - when do we get the yellow, green, blue, purple cards?

C'est la vie? .. Law Suits R Us ..... lol.

Is this one not prone to crashing like my last Sandisk did...that was not a nice experience

when it comes to Samsung phones/tablets there are well-documented issues with SanDisk.

Let's not forget the problems with Sandisk 32Gb cards last year, mine died in a Sony Xperia, the cards didn't just die in Samsung devices. For something you might be storing photos on reliability is a high priority - Samsung cards are pretty reliable and you can usually find them at a reasonable price, which is why so many recommend them.

Stuck 2 in the basket and the p&p went up to £5.60. Sadly will have to vote cold for the silly p&p charges. Deals okay if you just want 1 but anything more than that then p&p kills the deal.

This may be an alternative at £9.50 each

Can you not just Buy one at a time? .. thereby bypassing exorbitant Postage Costs here? lol. :-)

If you want to buy two, the cost of postage should not increase much from one but they charge double which is profiteering a bit

Here's an interesting thread that suggests a class 2 or 4 micro sd is better for a phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1150369

interesting read, had wondered how it panned out.
format
class 10 is an extremely broad spectrum, seems it includes stuff barely faster than class 6 to stuff like the sandisk pro extreme which is 4x faster than most class10's at 95mps (and 3x as expensive).

just done a bit of reading before buying one for a camera and basically faster the better for dslr/high quality cameras (anything slower than 10 may actually stop it taking pics in burst mode or recording HD vids as it can't write fast enough to clear the buffer) but anything above 6 seems kinda overkill for mobiles/tablets unless you really want to save time when copying large files.

Most people are going to be reading from their cards, rather than writing to them. Clearly they have to write something to them first, such as movies/music, but it doesn't matter so much if it takes a few seconds/minutes extra to do so, whereas if you were recording video then the card needs to keep up. Given that the class only refers to the write speed, it shouldn't matter which class you choose, and you might as well save yourself a little money.

Seems like a great deal for a card that is Samsung built. Reviews are great for this card and suggest that it is a lot faster than the slightly cheaper lexmar cards on play.com.

What is the strength of the sandisk vs this samsung? I'm asking because my psp memory card broke after my psp fell down. The PSP was fine, but the memory chip inside the card broke! Previous sandisk and sony memory sticks broke in that front fragile bit of the memory stick pro duo. I know this is micro SD, but do the sandisk have the strength that Samsung advertise for their cards? For people who have had the sandisk for a long time. Thanks
yeah it was under £20 from amazon only a few weeks ago, if your not desperate then wait as the prices yo-yo on there all the time
having said that its a very good card and either way its £1.50, wont break the bank

Yep listen to 'Wordsworth' i bought 2 from Ebay and both were fake, would only hold just over 2GB of data etc.

Got my money back both times after complaining.
I would even be careful about this one even though it is fulfilled by amazon. Personally I would only buy from a reputable retailer.

be careful about buying sd cards from ebay as many will be fakes which won't give you 32gb of space, even if it says that amount on your pc or phone.

I can confirm it works an absolute treat on my SII ....just remember (and some people do like a good old moan) that you don't get the full 64gb - mine shows about 59.5gb to play around with.

To only loose 0.5gb is good considering a 16gb card usually only gives 14.6 or something.
64-59.5 = 4.5
you do get the full '64gb' its just a definition thing

Yes, don't know why I had 60Gb in my mind at the time.
