For people interested in this, also check out your local Jessops, I managed to get a Crumpler Muffintop back pack for £35. Cheapest elsewhere was closer to £60. DIdnt submit it as a deal as was probably a misprice.

Friend also got the Crumpler Delhi for £50 with space for laptop etc closer to £150 elsewhere

This was Jessops in Banbury.

All Weather cover is worth its weight...

good deal..just got one

I wouldn't pay too much attention to that line drawing showing capacity as Lowepro tend to use the same image for the whole range. I doubt very much that you'd get an additional lens AND a flash in this little bag.

Ordered and received mine today on super saver shipping.

It fits my SONY A200 but does not have room for a 2nd lens - fine for me though as a holiday bag.

Looks too much like a camera bag for me, im going for the "crumpler" bags which look less like " i have an expensive camera in my bag!"

Good price though

well, nowadays if it's mine, it's probably a film canister with 5AAA rechargeables for my MP3, +ve up if they're charged, +ve down if it's just run out ;)

Has anyone bought a decent bag which just fits a canon 40D (or equivalent) with a 17-55 2.8?

I have been looking for ages for a decent bag just for this set-up alone. I wont be carrying anything else so it needs to "just fit"

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

I've just bought one of these on Ebay for my 50E (film camera) but tried it with my 450D (with a similar lens to yours) and it fitted just fine. This one will have a little bit of room around your camera, but with the 'bits and pieces' that you end up taking with you, I'd say it was spot on.

I've got a couple of Lowe camera bags that I've had for ages and they're are still in excellent condition - wouldn't buy anything else.

Thanks for reply.

My camera + lens is 19cm long would you be able to measure the actual internal dimensions of your bag. the spec says the bag is only 16.5cm long!

Cheers

Probably because Lowepro tuck them away in their own section, away from the rest of the shoulder bags. ;-)

cheers! i've got a lowepro toploader at the moment but it attracts a lot of attention, and its pointless putting it into another larger bag. the crumpler bags are perfect!

This is a great deal. My OH has one of these and it's ace if you just want your camera with you.

Personally, I have an Orion II. It doesn't look like a camera bag and I can get 3 lenses and a flash in the bottom and still have the top for my lunch and other crap that I carry around with me.
#18
Looks just like what I need, the thought of carrying all my kit out more often than not means I just take my point and shoot. I did have a Lowepro shoulder bag that JUST fits the camera and very tightly, this at least has room for all the bits and bobs. H + R added :)

This is pretty dinky to be honest. I had one a couple of years ago but punted it on ebay as I couldn't even carry a set of ND grads in it. Holds a camera and a couple of lenses, but no room for a rocket blower or flash. I use a cumpler pretty boy XXXL mostly now, and even that is tight sometimes. My lowepro orion gets a lot of use too, as someone else mentioned there's room for camera and 2-3 lenses in the bottom and room in the top section for other gear like food, jacket etc (or flashes and stuff).

There was also a good deal on a Kata rucksack here a few weeks back, very comfy but haven't tried it out properly yet.

There's a clue in the name.

Looking at those specs I'm not sure how I'd fit one lens in with my DSLR... and I thought mine was quite small! I have an Olympus e620, want a bag that will fit the olympus with a 40-150mm lens attached and a 35mm macro lens. Going away for a few days and want to travel as light as possible. Reckon this will do it?
#22
As the macro is quite small, it should be fine.

Have a look here.
