Why would they not? Seem to be available for around £10 elsewhere.

None of the model numbers on other sites matches the Currys one, so its hard to decide what this actually is.

Reserved one and collected it from Currys this morning. I can confirm that the actual bag is a "Lowepro Rezo TLZ 20". A Canon 400D with standard lens fits in it quite easily, and it will also fit with a slighter wider lens.

Despite reserving one online, the shop didn't actually put one aside, but they had a large wire basket full of various bags, and the sales guy managed to find a couple of these near the bottom so I took the best one! They were also clearly labelled with a price tag of £4.97.

Specifications on the tag: inner dimensions 5.7W x 4.4D x 6.9H inches, 0.7lbs/0.3kg

This site has a review and also a video showing the bag:

Thanks to the OP for this - just managed to pick one up after a bit of a "search around!!!"

...I actually tried to reserve one of these online with PC World...when I got there I tried to find them on the shelves but to no avail...so I went to the collection counter - and the guy typed in the product code/product number...and it indicated they had one left...

...after 5/10mins he came back saying that they didn't have any in (but he just went to look at the shelf I had just looked at!!!)

...anyway so I went into the Currys next door (checked on their website and it said they didn't have any)...looked at all their LowePro bags...and finally stumbled across the "Revo TLZ 20"...wasn't sure at first if it was this one!!!

BASICALLY don't rely on the reservations on PC World - their stock seems unreliable (and they rarely put stuff aside - well some stores do but from my experience the majority don't!!!)

Good luck everyone who has reserved and not picked up!!!

Great price! voted hot, unfortunately out of stock at local PC World and Currys!

I got one & pleased to hear my canon will fit - thank you !
#23
Ive had to order one from Derby which means it will end up costing me a tenner with the fuel but still not bad.
#24
I reserved in PCWorld and when I came to pick up, the salesgirl couldn't find it, so she gave me a TLZ10 instead (store price is £24.99), which fits my D40 quite well actually. Big thanks!

I reserved two of these yesterday, one at The Forge in Glasgow and one at Birkenshaw Uddingston . (one for me, one for my brother-in-law)

The first was a real hassle, as he couldn't find the bag that matched the code, so I got a £24.99 Lowepro ALTUS TLZ 20 which he had to mark down at the till to £4.97.

http://www.currys.co.uk/product.php?sku=359738&camp_id=froogle

The second shop was no bother, went through at £4.97 fine, no problem finding it. This bag was a Lowepro REZO TLZ 20.

Not much difference between the two to be honest and both worth the fiver.

Mine is rather full with the D40 + kit lens. My brother in law has a Canon S5, and it sinks to the bottom with loads of room above it.

Thanks OP for this one.

I have one of these which I use for my Canon Powershot S2 lS. The bag is well made but not particularly well designed - with the carrying strap attaching to the side of the bag the centre of gravity is low and the bag can turn upside-down quite easily if you do anything more active than walking.I've lost a few spare batteries when climbing over fences or the like as the small net compartments within the bag have no zip or fasteners. That said this is a great price. I paid about £23 for mine a couple of years ago.

Just went to PC World near where I work and they had one TLZ20 (with zero on the end)
which scanned at £4.97, so I got one, despite the website saying there were none in stock at that branch... Thanks OP! :p

I picked one up from PC World on Saturday. There were loads on the shelf but like everyone else has found, they never actually reserved it and picked all the stuff off the shelf so its a waste of time basically. It fits my canon 400d perfectly with loads of room at the top. I reckon I could fit a couple of lenses in the top alone (in cases to prevent scratching of course). Good find!

none available in the north west at currys or pc world

Reserved one online today as apparently according to the Currys website they had them in stock at their Glasgow Braehead branch Took a trip over there only to be told that they actually didn't have any in stock. When I asked why their website had said that they did I was told: "it sometimes does that"! And Currys were sorry about this.

I was then told that according to their "system" (my word!) there was one in PC World at Finnieston. I should have taken the assistants offer to phone the branch ahead but thought I'd take the chance. After all, their system couldn't be wrong twice, could it????

Lo and behold when I arrived at PC World at Finnieston, they could not find one either! The assistant at this branch then offered to look on the "system" to see which branch had one in stock.

I declined this kind offer and so I retired hurt and I definitely think I'll go somewhere else for that 40" LCD Telly that I am after.......
