This is in the papers today (Sun, Star and Mirror), and is £10 cheaper than the box which Tesco currently advertises on TV.

For anyone looking to get the freeview HD channels it looks to be the cheapest I can find, and good timing for the World Cup with all games being televised in HD.

Don't know if it's any better in terms of quality, but there's a Bush Freeview HD box at Argos for £99.99.

Ok:

If you have SKY, you might as well get the HD box, £10 a month, free box and free installation (if you haggle) is better value as it has more channels.

If you don't have SKY, I would wait a bit for the Freeview/Freesat HD boxes, because with only 3 channels in HD £60 more than a normal box is not really worth it.

A couple more channels and it would be though.

BBC HD, ITV HD and channel 4 HD, I think there is one other as well, the main thing is hd for the worldcup.

I paid £300 a month or so back for a pace freeview hd box with 500 gig dvr picture is great for the footie glad I got it.

Having the surname 'Lowrie', I was hoping this brand would at least be the same 'quality' as Technika etc.

There was a freesat hd box by bush for £65 at argos, not sure if its still there though.

I'd personally wait till they drop to the £50 mark before considering buying one.

But freesat needs a dish, which I'm guessing most people don't want?
