This is so tempting just for the fun of it, i wouldnt wanna get lumbered with a few battieries though, a new keyboard or mouse would be good so i dont have to keep switching one from my pc to my ps3
#3
Plus £4.79 delivery!
#4
tempted but £9.74 incl. delivery is slightly expensive bearing in mind the stuff is between £10 to £20 and could be much more cheaper. But i suppose good fun if you are ordering some thing else. Heat added. Thanks

I saw this today actually and was tempted to buy it. Reviews are not too bad. I wouldnt buy it just for the hell of it though, its probably best as a filler to get the free p&p.

I've just ordered 5 at a cost of £29.52 so fingers crossed and worst ways the suff can go on eBay.

Looks like they will all be the same contents.

How many would you need to buy to a make it free postage?

Seriously though - I think its only worthwhile if you do it to reach the free postage amount.
#14
Shockingly bad do not bother.
#15
Bag of junk.
#16
I bought one of these just before xmas along with other bits I bought.
I ended up with:

AMD black T shirt size L
Web Cam
10 -1 Remote control
mouse mat cloth version that costs 60 odd pence in Asda

So ok'ish to tab on the end of a order if you feel lucky and fit in a size L t-shirt :)
#17
I received a 42" plasma Tv.................but the box was damaged & no remote.

If your hoping to get diff stuff in each one, I wouldn't hold out much hope. Ordered 3 before christmas and they were exactly the same

You wont get anything woth over a tenner, its all **** they cant sell.
#22
They're flogging cr.ap they cannot sell even at clearance prices. Why somebody would want to "gamble" on eBuyer is beyond me.

A youtube video of what one guy got in his lucky bag.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8ndmIkcD-Do
#25
Must agree, sounds a bit of a risk, i will vote when i hear what people
have got. good luck to all those who are going for it
#26
My god you lot like wasting cash.
#27
Just watched the Youtube video. What a load of pound shop rubbish. Would be better off spending £5 on scratch cards. You might not win anything but it would be more fun than opening a desktop fan, extension lead, remote control............................................

Fine if you need to bulk up an order for free delivey as it wont really be costing you anything, but i wouldn't buy it otherwise.
#28
From the youtube video i would guess that ebuyer have a poundland near them and that the poundland has very good sales at the moment!

Royal Mail is not available for delivery to EIRE and Northern Ireland due to insurance purposes

What a load of BS! can't speak for Eire, but Royal Mail deliver to NI just like the rest of the UK, so what the **** is this shyte all about?

Voted Cold

If a 'lucky bags' going to cost a fiver plus £13 postage to NI, they can go **** themselves.

Actually I've always wondered why there's problems with sending stuff to N.I. but that sentence finally explains it all. Rather than send stuff recorded delivery, companies just put it in first class and get separate insurance against it going missing. The difference between insuring all the mainland stuff and insuring N.I. as well must be uneconomical for them. So don't blame Ebuyer, don't blame Royal Mail, it's down to the insurance companies.

I've been, or should I say WAS a loyal ebuyer customer of 3 years or more, but they have become very sneaky ba5tards of late. For a start, they do not allow 99% of the bad reviews to go through, and only put through a token amount of neg reviews to make it seem like their being open & honest with the products on offer.

I (stupidly) grabbed one of these Lucky Bags with my last order, not only was my whole order a bag of shyte, but so was this lucky bag, literally.

I got:

A one-for -all styled remote (£1 shop special)

MP3 player (looked like a model from 5 years back)

A pedometer (Gym equipment!?) which broke withing five minutes

A nasty rollerball mouse

and a pack of batteries which were actually DOA.

All in all, the sorta sh!t you find (and sensibly leave on the shelf) in any £1 shop up and down the country.

I couldn't even be arsed sending them back, as they have a habit of conveniently forgetting to pay the return postage for faulty items. A few years back they collected returns from your DOOR! How times have changed. Ebuyer are now an awful company to deal with IMHO.

I'm astounded this got voted hot. There needs to be an option to vote shyte for stuff like this! :p

DO NOT ORDER THIS AT ALL BE WARNED!!!

I ordered 8 bags, 7 were the same content, look like someone had raided poundland.

7* universal remote,
7* 4way extension
7* usb fan with damaged packaging
7* mouse mat
7* scart splitter
7* cheap fm radio

Its taken me a month to get them to take the **** back even though they had agreed to take it back and changed their mind each time, I had to resort to reading them the riot act (aka sales of goods act)

stay away!!

... and the webcam is a really cheap nasty thing.
#34
ebuyer are cheeky ba5tards, plain and simple.

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j70/gav989/DSCF2968.jpg

that's what i got, t-shirt, mini gym ball, rubbish multiscart, rubbish mousemat, drillbit set, earphones (the necalce style ones). from reading some comments, it looks like i could have done much worse!

Hi, Not convinced that this is a good buy as I'm afraid that I'm inclined to agree that this is an opportunity for eBuyer to shift stuff that is in their warehouse that would not otherwise sell.

Do not think a lot of eBuyer customer service although used to find them a good company to deal with. Would recommend Bigpockets over this offering from eBuyer. Not voting either way though.

Interesting but confusing message on the eBuyer homepage early this morning:-

We are closing the telephone lines at 7pm this evening as there are severe and dangerous weather conditions in Ohio due to the storms so we cannot open the Ohio USA office.

Best Regards
#37
Quite funny really - you lot were expecting lucky bags chock full of expensive kit for a fiver. And you all (in the majority) got shafted.

Do you think that eBuyer has become a charity?

Rather than throw out their junk and pay for refuse collection, they shove it in bags and get mugs to buy it :)

The laughable thing is that you all feel cheated, lol.
#38
I got one of these as a matter of interest. Not a patch on the Bigpockets bag 'o' **** (I got over £20 worth of useful stuff from that).

I have: 4-way switchable mains extension, windsurfer mouse mat, a large GPS case, some odd headphones and a pack of 4 utterly useless batteries.

http://twitpic.com/img/18nci-a417fb4b9a8d22aeb36837a08741f525.4981bb12.jpg

By coincidence the GPS case fits my old Tomtom perfectly and I needed a switchable extension, so I think I was fairly lucky anyway...
