Its only not worth doing if you plan to order 3 boxes

£44.54 of cereal!! I've never even heard of these before.

I take it you grind these up and smoke them! They're dear enough to be an illegal substance!

How have you not heard of lucky charms?? £44.54 for 12 boxes of cereal thats right considering that uk cereal can be between 2-3 quid a time i dont mind spending a bit more seeing as they have to be shipped from the states, i actually think its quite reasonable the price i paid
#8
Hope you get a good free gift inside?

Tony the Tiger reflectors for your bike or am I just showing my age!!

Each to there own tho, if you like something then you will pay for it.

You're looking at about 40% sugar in every mouthful, much of which comes from high-fructose corn syrup. There's also artificial food colourings in there, to get the kids hyperactive :w00t:

If you care in the slightest about your health then you're probably not going to go near this stuff.

Probably why you hardly ever see an overweight, unhealthy American*

Just ordered 6 packs (and a lolly pop to get it over £20) and used FACE to get free next day delivery. Didn't need to buy the 4 packs to get the same price.
I have to say I don't understand the hype around them but my nephews birthdays coming up and he loves them!!

surely you'll get charged customs if you order that many? Any package over £17.99 usually means paying excessive charges when it gets to the uk

Hang on a minute aint we on HotUkDeals and not Hotukdeal healthy eating advice.

At the end of the day its a cheap price for lucky charms therefore making it a deal.

Just because you don't think to wise about eating them is another matter not suitable for this site. :D

no customs apply. American Soda is a UK based company, and ship from within the UK.

haven't ordered from here for a while so i thought i'd get these & some r&w diet root beer but they haven't got any in stock :-( so i ordered the lucky charms & some sweets :whistling:
#24
I have to say that I am so tempted to try a can of the Coke Classic just to see if there is a difference. P+P and the minimal order puts me off.

I responded to a question from Emmamed. It's not as if I saw the deal and figured I'd start preaching nutritional advice. And surely knowing what's in this cereal is relevant information?

It's a forum as well as a bargain site. Threads tend to spark interesting discussion and provide useful information. It would be pretty dull around here if they didn't!

Anyway, let's leave the mods to decide what's suitable for this site.

I was just stating that you was handing our nutritional advice and it wasn't relevant to whether it was a good deal or not.

Just my personal opinion.

Why am i reminded of this scene from Alan Partridge:

"Im going to grab a Dr Pepper from the cooler, put it on my tab"

"im going to get a gingsters from the fridge, put it on the slate"

The information may be useful to people considering the deal. Whether it's relevant to the deal being good or not...what does it matter? I don't see the issue here.

Lmao there is no problem was just stating it :D x

mumbojumbo
Cereals are zero-rated for VAT (foodstuffs).

It depends on whether this actually classifies as a cereal or not, it's basically half-cereal, half-sweets.
suspended#32
Its a uk based company so customs doesn't come into it.

Cold at -50,

Obviously they must be cheaper somewhere else, can someone point me in that direction??
#33
I don't understand why all the cold votes. If you like these this is the cheapest you will find them. If not don't vote. Yes they are expensive for what they are but so are designer clothes etc. and some people like the occassional treat.
Thank you very much Starr for the posting, my nephew will love these!!!

At last someone who is on the same wave length

I'd honestly love to know where people can get these at a cheaper price :w00t:

Voting cold as you don't like the product is rather pathetic :whistling:

Have 9 degrees heat and some rep from me. These are hard to get at a decent price.
#37
Just placed an order last week as a treat for the kids (lucky cahrms) and a treat for me (mountain dew) :)
Good deal for the product as it is pricey everywhere else.
Heat added

Starr, if you're desperate for these things (there's no helping you ) then you should submit a product request to Asda - I'm sure they could arrange a deal with their American parent company Wal-Mart.

Ocado do the large boxes of these for £5.99 and there's often a 15% off code if you spend enough.

Mumbo, letters have been sent to ASDA nothing came of it :x

Youre the second person ive heard mention Ocado, im gonna look into that

Just found them, rep for that, 15% code would prob be a better deal then this
