Used a great Lufthansa offer from last year to fly to Beijing in February. (£347 incidentally). Went from Manchester which worked out much cheaper than London, although it did require dog-legging through Frankfurt. Very good airline and A380 was interesting. Would have no hesitation in using them again. I've also found that it is often possible to beat those headline offer figures by checking different departure points and dates.

Had to have a wee look for myself ........... 'cos I am tempted .....

Found late October departures from Manchester going to Beijing, returning a week or so later for only £423 ! Should be attracting more heat methinks?

.... also Manchester/Tokyo, loads of date combinations available for less than the quoted £549. Cheapest I can see after a quick gander, is £524.

Been to all three and IMO Beijing wins hands down. So much to see and not "westernised" like Singapore and Tokyo.
Much cheaper also, but you need to factor in the expensive visa needed for China.
