it's been running here for ages too!
the boots deal is a bit pricey. but they sometimes have their lunch stuff reduced to clear if it goes off that day, which is just awesome! I had a 75p wrap the other that should've cost £2.75. it was a good lunch :D:p

Not a huge selection though

Cold since the Boots selection is much better with more variety on sandwiches, drinks and snacks.

With Tesco, it's only really the £1/£1.50 sandwiches that are in the deal with very basic snacks and cheap drinks.

Much prefer the Boots one cos you can have one of the £1+ treat size bags of chocolate with it.

I have to agree with above posts that it hardly blows the boots deal 'out of the water' this is 99p cheaper than boots but boots have a great selection of Sandwiches, Crisps and other snacks and some premium drinks such as relentless on offer as part of thier deal. Also havent tried the Tesco sandwiches but some of the boots ones are awesome.

Still a decent deal dont get me wrong.

Boots is better and if you have thier advantage card, join the health club (free) and you get an extra 10% off meal deals and any boots own brand product , brings the meal deal down to 2.69

35 degrees and makes the Hot Deals of the day, what has happened to this website??
#8
Cold. The selection of sarnies for the £2 deal is most uninspiring. Boots blows this out of the water for value, choice and quality.
#9
Yeah, it's all about the Boots meal deals.
#10
boots meal deals kick tesco's ass!!
#11
I like this deal cheap lunch out with kids, better value than macd's all good all good
#12
**** selection of sandwiches, the most basic boring sandwiches in the store.
#13
Been here in Norn Iron for about a year :-)

Triple egg and crest is nice with a diet coke and a bag of cheese and onion :-)
#14
Boots chicken triple, typically 2x 500ml drinks (usually always something on bogof) and a carrot cake -£2.99, and you get your 6th, if purchased within 1 month, free.

Tescos sandwiches choices are basically egg mayo, ham and cheese, tuna, and prawn - all of which arent exactly filled well, are on white bread, and you only get 2. With this its just a cacky 250ml juice from concentrate, or a 500ml water, and some crisps.

Its like comparing McD's to a nice restaurant!

Been this price for ages in the city so don't see this as a deal, maybe if they had lowered the price but like i said its been this price for ages, sorry but voted cold

Yeah exactly its fine if your a fussy 10 year old, a anorexic teenanger or a granny with no taste buds. The fillings are basic and nasty, and only cover about 70% of the bread.

They usually have a decent selection of sandwiches/wraps/pasta pots when I'm in. Yesterday I got a pot of spicy chicken pasta, a bottle of pure orange and a packet of Walkers worcester sauce crisps.

The Boots one is decent as well, just depends where is handiest to you at the time.

Hot from me.

This has been going for ages, pretty poor selection and they never have the still water in the chiller cabinet or the walkers baked crisps at the tesco I go to.
#19
Not really a deal this, they've been doing it for years!

I could be out-of -date on that one - I used to get the boots deals until I moved work.

I'm now nowhere near a boots, so last time would have been nearly a yr ago.

#25

Boots: Tropicana 100% pure orange (not from concentrate)
Tesco: Orange juice from concentrate
