There's a Dominos very near to my office & having seen the ad for these subs at £1.99 (usually £3.49) my colleague & I tried them out at lunchtime today. This deal is also £2.49 with a cold drink. Great price for a hot lunch bite this Autumn as the weather starts to get colder.

Our branch also offered a 7" pizza (4 slices) with 1 additional topping to cheese & tomato for £1.99.

All in all a very cheap price for a tasty, if not unhealthy lunch!

Enjoy!

Yeah it really is tasteless...I was so excited to try one but was thoroughly dissapointed. They barely put any sauce, and just throw in a small amount of fillings/cheese. Maybe it's just my local dominos...

YAY!!! No longer paying £2.29 at subway for the sub of the day. May as well buy this... or two chicken burgers, 2 large fries and a drink for £2....hmmm.

Where on earth can you get that deal I want to go there!

I tried the meatball sub a while ago, really poor. Even worse than microwave junk like Rustlers.

I've had these for about 15 days now; (i'm a student and only work part-time) and I can vouch for them being Brilliant too!

#13
I tried the New Yorker one and quite enjoyed it, but I'm used to eating tasteless rubbish.

The pizza deal sounds better - anymore of those or just the sub?
#15
No-one able to make their own lunch anymore?

Good deal if you like their food!
#16
I would like to know what the food snobs here eat as there's always a problem with any take-out food

I said that they taste worse than a Rustlers burger, that's hardly snobby.

Subway has got to be the most disgustingly unhealthy food on the high street. A guy I work with got a footlong meatball sub- 1300 calories and 9g of salt!!!
you could have 3 big macs and still be better off.
And the bread is made with hydrogentated fats and cart-loads of salt- totally unhealthy!
Please people, for the sake of your health AVOID SUBWAY

Ok we will hold back on the subs if you can offer an alternative that is tasty and cheap :) (Not a cold sandwich or a sausage roll or pasti from greggs) Please remember we're british ;) You wouldn't think the subs are that bad when you see the shape and appearance of the majority of the customers.

A burger chain called Sam's Chicken. You can have spicy or non-spicy. Alternatively (i think there is only one branch of this shop) there is a shop called Daxie (yes daxie) chicken in west london where you can get 2 burgers, 2 fries and a pepsi or slushi for £2.

Major competition on food shops where I live so customers are always better off.
