  Even if it's the 1kg pack then £3.79 plus VAT makes it more expensive than Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's who are all selling 2 500g packs for £4.

  It's 1kg and price includes VAT.

  So a massive 21p saving over three major supermarkets. Not sure why it would be so popular unless you have a butter addiction. Voted cold, not really worth the hassle of going to save that amount.

  Yeah picked some up on Sunday. Also have the lighter version at £3.65. Its the 1kg tub and no vat on butter.

  I love Costco but the groceries are not always that competitively priced. The choc drink and the strawbs sound good value though.

  But it's 21pcheaper. That's all. I could understand your frustration if it was half the price of anywhere else and people were still voting it cold, but as I said Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's are all selling 500g tubs at either £2 each or 2 for £4, so you're not saving much.

  I have a certain degree of sympathy for the OP as the £2 price stated as a reason for voting down is also deal which ironically has received over 200° so by that fact this should be hotter but people vote it down because they don't have a Costco card. Not sure why! people wouldn't vote down a nappy offer if they didn't have a baby. But maybe some people would.
