Great price seeing as it's around £2.40 for a single tub. We don't use anything else.

usually around £4 for 500g at Costco

Take note - this stuff is not very spreadable, I have to stick some in the microwave in the mornings on a low setting to get it to spread over medium slice bread/.

can you use this as butter for baking? i assume its butter with some oil but does it taste the same and cook the same?

Is Sainsburys not charging £1.50 each at the moment and is this not the normal price in Lidl?

There seems to be some confusion as MySupermarket shows 2x500gm for £3

http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Butter_Margarine_And_Spreads/Lurpak_Slightly_Salted_Spreadable_500g.html

Whilst in-store yesterday (Martins Heron/Bracknell) the shelf stickers show 2x500gm for £4

Presume the store price is correct, unless someone says otherwise ???

2 x 500gm tubs for £4 in Sainsburys. This promotion does seem to happen on a regular basis

For anyone who hasn't noticed, the 500g tubs of Lurpak Spreadable are now showing as £1.40 each at Tesco online.
