Walking past the one in Bluewater usually results in giving me an instant headache, the smell from this shop appears to overpower everything else within quarter of a mile.

It's still a good deal though.

I think that Lush's owners now were the main suppliers to The Body Shop in it's first years (when it was a great shop). Cosmetics to Go was a sideline mail order business for them but I think that went bust. Lush shops do smell strongly but that's probably because they don't package everything 2 or 3 times. :)

oh no you are forcing me to go to Lush tomorrow - and spend £20! :)
#13
I love Lush stuff and buy it regularly, I also love a freebie so thanks for posting! x

Oh I love the smell of Lush, I took one of their newspapers home and 4 months after it still lightl fragrances my room! Everytime I've been they've always given me free samples. I wish there was a Lush in my town
#15
Ditto the love for Lush. Yeah C2G apparently went bust because they expanded too quickly - I'm not sure but I think you can still get some of those products from a sister site - I think Never B too busy 2 B beautiful or something.

I've never understood how people find Lush nauseous - I've always found it yummy, and it's a lot less potent now than it used to be. Now I have an excuse for buying everything I wanted to get!! :D

By the way if anyone didn't know, you get 10% off vouchers in gift boxes (all? anyone?), so it's worth picking up one of those if they contain products you want.

I keep the little wrappers in my knicker drawer!

I get the headaches as well. Went in for 3 minutes and I had to come out again. What a lightweight. Smells nice about half a mile away though.

Like the products but the store stinks like a *****s handbag.

It's pretty grim inside the shop. I'm still upset with the £40 box I bought for my mum 2 years ago for Christmas. There wasn't an awful lot inside it. Vegan or not, you don't get a lot for the money. The supersized pill (thinking Brasseye cake) was quite entertaining, but not £40 entertaining or worth enduring the fragrant armpit that was the shop.

Heat added, though, in that it's cheaper than it usually is.

Are you my dad?:-D

When we are about 100ft away from a Lush Store he starts sniffing loudly and complaining Victor Meldrew Stylee about the awful stink/stench/foul aroma coming from the store! :|

I love Lush and hope I can go to town whilst this deal is still on.

Oh, that's a shame that you were disappointed with your gift box. And I love going to the shop...still we can't all like the same things can we? Well done for heating the deal up even though you're not keen on the stuff...that's the way it should be done

Thats right - its https://www.bnevertoobusytobebeautiful.co.uk/ - and they have a few stores as well - theres one at the top end of Oxford Street. If you haven't ever tried their Myddvai face pack - its wonderful:w00t:! (it originates from Cosmetics To Go - and is still a similar price from all those years ago!). I believe someone called Mark Constantine has something to do with this (as he did with Cosmetics To Go and Lush).

You should have waited until just after Christmas as they were selling several of their gift boxes (ok defies the point in a Xmas pressie I guess!) - I think I got about 10 boxes for £50! They were doing a £20 and a £30 selection where you got loads of boxes for your money! It lasted me all year! (in fact I still have some left!).

But I agree with you - its actually better to put your own box together as you can chose exactly what you want and keep an eye on the price too, as they do skimp on what they put in their boxes (I have enough soap for a lifetime supply!).
