Yep most definately thorntons without a doubt, always great variety and good flavours too, only ones I haven't liked are coffee and thats just personal taste.

The 99p ones I got from HB are actually 454g and contain ten of the small Thorntons bars (which probably retail for around 49p/59p each in Thorntons? - eg Cappuccino, Alpini etc). HB also do smaller bags of individual Thorntons mis-shape chocs for 59p.

No you're wrong there. Your facts may be correct for your store but you are completely incorrect in suggesting that the OP has got it wrong.

The bags are indeed 99p and are not the bars, but a large selection of chocolates seemingly from behind the thorntons counters or in the continental boxes. They are classed as 'misshapes' but not really misshapen.

Yes I have, numerous times from both Lincolnshire and Nottingham. They're beautiful, especially all the variety of praline chocs.

I thought some of the bags had Lindtt's Lindor chocs as they were round like the Lindor balls, but in fact they were the Thornton's Champagne truffles! Score!!

Yeah, I noticed they had a different brand of mis-shapes in recently. Haven't tried them yet, but it is slightly confusing. Don't know how they compare with Thorntons but no doubt ardent HB'ers will be quick to post their observations for the benefit of everyone else. :-D

Picked up a few bags of these based on the "Thorntons" decriptions banded about on here - the bag I've had so far is a very poor relation of Thorntons - maybe they have different batches or something but definitely not Thorntons chocolates in this one...:whistling:

One thing I noticed is that the weights vary quite a bit - I got one bag that was like double the weight of the others

My husband has been buying these and they are lovely, but I am trying to find out where they are sourced from? It just says packed for cocoa club, but now having seen the awful abuse of child slaves carrying cocoa, I need to be sure about what I'm eating!but I do love these from H and B
